I feel your pain Kevin... I had to cancel mine too, after a billing blunder with my bank... I was hoping to come up with the funds for the prepub but it just didn't happen. And like you, at $500, I don't think I'll be getting it.

I think it's cool that all of these companies can work together in one way or another & that they all have the common goal of getting people to study the Word of God It's nice to see the Olive Tree guys @ BibleTech... or Accordance & Logos & BibleWorks going head to head @ SBL, but still sitting down & being friendly with one another after it's all

I've found that turning off the "Rely on system fonts only" option under the printing properties tends to help with that issue

Smart Tags are currently in beta testing for Logos 4. When Logos 4.1 releases in the coming weeks, Smart Tags functionality will be made available in Logos 4.

I've had that resource return a few "bogus" hits as well. Not sure exactly why, seeing that the verse(s) I'm studying aren't even covered.

I can confirm this too. Really noticed it quite a bit this morning in church.

I'll describe how I use these as I'm studying a passage/book of the Bible (which I outline for preaching/teaching) Notes - I use this primarily to jot down my observations & questions, so that I can make sure that I answer them as I'm studying. I also use it to jot down thoughts that come to mind that I want to remember or stuff I want to explore more

can I say that I'm officially jealous?

I just noticed this last night, and was able to verify that this is new to 4.2 beta 3. I use shortcuts for some of my layouts, and since installing beta 3, I've noticed that when I use the "Update to current snapshot" option for a layout, it saves like it is supposed to but my shortcut still points to an older snapshot, instead of the one I just saved
"Well to me, this verse means..."
I cringe & grind my teeth every time I hear someone say that, especially from behind the pulpit

worked for me thanks Bradley! ur the man!

interesting Jacob... I have the same problem if I bring up the ESV & apply the visual filter. I haven't noticed that in the NASB though, which is my primary translation for study.

I've got this ordered . I've thoroughly enjoyed working with the NT bundle, although, I still need to scrape up some extra funds to pick up Steve's "Discourse Grammar" to go alongside.

I installed via iTunes and it did a backup & restore as a part of the install, so I didn't lose anything on my iPod Touch

or there's always the route (like i do) of tagging all of your scriptures with bibleref markup my verse Genesis 1:1

1. the arrow with the number means that the English text corresponds to the Greek word with the "5" subscript in that verse... 2. the arrow pointing forward (or back) means that the entire phrase or group of words was translated from that one Greek word (mainly because Greek verbs include person, number, gender, mood, etc.) 3. for the dot in the English
