  • Re: Degree of Devotion to YHWH Chart

Hi Ted I laid the blame at Logos at the time because I thought they were responsible for it appearing on my Home Page. It wasn’t until I began to receive replies from various forum people, that I was made to realise that everyone’s home page is unique, compiled automatically by Logos software from a random selection of stuff in my library. The blame

Thanks, Brian. The thought occurred to me after posting that I could be reading the chart incorrectly. What you say makes sense.

Ah, Richard; many thank youse. I didn't know that everyone's home page is different, and is randomly designed to correspond to the client's library. How did you get to know that sort of useful information? I don't know; I'm often the last person to discover that sort of stuff. Anyway, thank you again. It seems to me the problem is not with Logos, but

  • Degree of Devotion to YHWH Chart

I think it is a little bit sad that Logos have chosen to display on their Page 1 a chart from The New American Commentary: Judges, Ruth, that graphs the Judges of Israel in such a manner that indicates a declining devotion to God. Who are we or The NEW American Commentary to judge? Each of these judges were personally chosen by God to perform a specific

  • Was Jonah's Heart "far from God"?

Pastorum 2013 features Dr Mark Futato who presents a segment regarding the significance of Bible words. In the short sample clip, Dr Futato asks a question concerning the word the writer of Jonah used under inspiration to describe how the big fish managed to put Jonah back onto dry land, and the word is "vomit". Dr Futato tells his audience that the

  • Logos 4 Level

It's probably been asked before, but I can't find it: how can I ascertain which Logos 4 package I have? I'm not asking if I have the latest Logos 4 update; do I have Scholar, or whatever?

Excellent! Thanks, Graham. It seems this is the only occasion where anepsios appears in the NT. I was hoping to determine a little more accurately John Mark's relationship to Barnabas. There is a school of thought that Mark was Barnabas' nephew, and considering the age difference, I'm inclined to agree. Bruce

Thanks, Graham; kind of you to respond in such detail. For some reason, I couldn't paste the screen shots directly from my clipboard, so both the Lemma and Word search screenshots are in the attached document.. 8666.Logos - COUSIN.pdf

  • Bible Word Study

From Col 4.10, I wanted to do a Bible WS on Gk: anepsios . Why is it that I'm presented with a long list of Biblical names? Also, when I do a Lemma - Search this resource, I get a similar thing. How can I do a study on how anepsios , and its Hebrew/Aramaic equivalent is used in Scripture, please? Bruce Prince, Australia.
