I have used Galaxies Theological Journals in 2 different seminary programs now. Other than the Bible, they have been my most used resource in Logos. It seems that the same reason was given last year for why the journals were late right? It would make a lot of sense to put on hold some the old stuff and put more resources into current Journals...

Out of the thousands of books in my Logos library, the Journals (next to the Bible of course) are the best and most used books in my library. Last year I patiently waited month after month when it should have come out. Please Logos.... get Vol 15 out earlier this year!

Hi David (English): E4 used to provide their books in the Libronix (logos) format. I don't remember when they stopped, but it has been a while. For a while now they have/are providing their books in Quickverse (Step) format. If you have books in a folder called "Step" my guess would be that you have E4 books in the step (quickverse) format and not in

Hi Bruce: A couple of days ago Logos Support said they did not have a date set yet for release. The theological journal's have been extremely helpful while in Seminary! Matthew

I was thinking about purchasing the Expositor's Bible Commentary (12 volume set). Several of the (hardback) volumes have been updated over the last several years. Does anyone know if LOGOS will be updating them in digital format (and if they do do you think the updates will cost extra)? http://www.logos.com/product/5457/the-expositors-bible-commentary

Thanks Steve, that fixed the 'problem.'

Hi Folks: I am using Logos 4 and have bible verses within commentaries that are automatically highlighted. I tried turning off visual filters, etc, but I must be missing something. I have pasted an example below. The highlighting does not seem to occur in my Bibles, just the commentaries. Thanks for any help. (p.s. it seems to occur whether there is

Hi Bokman: I had the same issue for almost two years. I would click on a tab in Logos 4 and every time it seemed to take several seconds go to that tab/resource. I just chalked it up to being a slow program and spent my time using Logos 3. Yesterday I was playing around with Logos 4 after doing a fresh install of it. The problem though 'fixed' itself

Thanks for all the help everyone. I was able to run the bibliography and chose refer-bibIX as the style (there is also the RIS format style under there). Then I just exported it as a txt file. I was able to import the file into endnote (and zotero) and now I have all of my books ready to go for next semester!

Thanks for the info Alan. Hopefully they will in the future (before I finish Seminary....)

Hi Folks: In addition to Logos, I also use a different Bible Software package that has bibliographic reference files available that allow the several hundred resources to be imported into Zotero, Endnote, etc. all at one time. I have more than 2 thousand Logos books and was wondering if Logos has this available also. I can get the bibliographic info

Hi Chris: My guess would be: 1. The Desktop boots Logos quicker because it likely has a faster harddrive. Most Desktop Hardrives are 7200 rpm, while laptops often operate at slower speeds. 2. Logos 4 I believe (from memory) is not multi-core? If that is so, then the number of cores would not make as much difference as the speed of the individual cores

I graduated from AGTS (Assemblies of God Theological Seminary) in 2001 with my M.Div (I also have an M.A. in Counseling from AGTS). I've used Logos 3 a lot more than Logos 4 though. Matthew

I'm having the same issue also. I just did a fresh install of my MAC OS yesterday and now am unable to install Logos. I tried rebooting (several times), and re-downloading the dmg. This is really annoying! (I let it run for several hours this morning but it never gets to the actual downloading phase. I also turned off my antivirus and tried some other

Hi Matthew: I just ordered mine this morning (about 10 minutes before posting this morning - coming by USPS - standard) so you might get yours before mine. I also ordered a copy of Bakers Digital Library (level 3) for less than $20.00). I'll post back my results when they finally get here.... Matthew Friend

Thanks for the replies guys. When the cd's finally come in the mail, I think I'll try calling Customer Service first (maybe there will be a serial number or maybe I can forward a copy of my email/invoice to them). Thanks, Matthew

I just ordered the "R.C. Sproul" library. I see that it is in the old LLS format. What is the best way to get this collection/resources into Logos 4? (I know Logos 3 would read the resources. Will Logos 4 do the same?). Thanks, Matt

Hi Scott: You stated that you wanted to try Win 7 64 bit for the extra memory recognition.. FIrst, if your upgrading to only 3 GB, I would stick with with 32 bit (32 bit will be able to address/use 3 GB). If you were going to upgrade to 4 GB then it might be worth it (because the 4 GB limit of 32 Vista also includes the video card, bus, etc so if you

Hi Russ: I would assume that if Logos 4 is crashing there must be something else going on. I've tried the copy procedure on 4 different computers and a VMWare virtual machine without it crashing. Logos 4 could be more responsive/less sluggish, but performs ok. It should get better in the coming weeks.

Hi Jerry: For now I'm probably going to hold off installing on the MAC side since the MAC version is still in alpha. Once it goes beta then I'll likely give it a try.
