Well, thanks for that note, as, AVAST is trusted in this family. I have a greater investment in my computers and Bible programs than my children and brother (who is also a preacher) do, but I am sure I am the most ignorant of them. I have used AVAST in the past... Will have to give it another run.

Hey, Richard... Thought I should update you, as you invested so much time in helping me. I took the whole program off of my computer, as well as all of Webroot. I downloaded the program in full, which took nearly two full days, and it is working right. I am not going to put Webroot back on here, but do wish I had known it caused trouble. Logos is sending

Well, this is quite odd. I took Webroot off, then deleated the Logos through the uninstaller, then reinstalled Logos, (only the basic software). When I tried to start the program, the Logos logo came up, and then the Windows box that said that it quit working and was checking for a solution came up. It has done this repeatedly... soooooooo, I must have

Yesssss... thanks for your help. I may just uninstall, now that I know that Webroot could be the culprit. When I uninstalled Webroot, they asked me why... and I told them as best I could. Might be that others have had issues that they have a patch, or whatever you call it, to fix the problem with. I can re-download this over night and during the day

Well, I did do my best to do what it said to do... again, I am not fluent in computerese, at all. I took caution to follow what it said, but I may well not have done exactly as I should. I am sure I could take Logos off my comp, and install it again. I have disabled webroot, in case it is the culprit, and plugged in the MS version that was free, as

Well, thanks. I attempted all that I have been advised to attempt. I am not too adept at understanding programing and all the complexities that I have been trying to do today. I have put nearly 7K in this program, and I guess I expected it to work better than this without me having to go to school for it. I will wait for Logos to fix this, since I have

I have now tried to re-download the installer for Logos. After the installer downloaded its software, I told it to install, and I still get the same warning box. Does anyone know how I am to determine that I am to "Verify that you have access to that directory."?

I actually caught webroot trying to stop Logos yesterday, which I found odd, because I am not that smart about such things. I did take care of it, and it worked fine last night. This morning when Logos wanted to add another update, it started doing what I have reported. I looked in webroot, and their is nothing there relating to that file at all...

  • A new update crashed my program this morning.

Does anyone know how to resolve this? The problem has to do with this: C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Local\Logos4\System\Logos.Documents.Contracts.dll. I sent this note to Logos Support, but they often take days to answer anything I send. The update that I got this morning, closed my Logos, and will not let me open it again. I get an error that will not permit
