  • Biblia on Kindle Touch

I have been using Biblia on a Kindle Touch to help my eyes (much easier for me than a backlit computer screen, even when the screen is at its lowest brightness). However, the "arrow" button in Biblia (on the right and left, but at the top and bottom of a section) which lets you go to the next section in the book are so CLOSE to the EDGE that you cannot

  • Re: Read-aloud chopping the first character of sections, or paragraphs

I agree that Read Aloud in L5 works much better than it did in L4, but I also have seen the problem of the first character of some paragraphs being chopped.

  • Biblical People - Jesse married to Nahash (father of Abigail)?

Is there a way to report typos and errors in "Biblical People"? If not, please note that "Nahash (father of Abigail) — son of Itra and the father of Abigail" is shown as female in many of the charts. Furthermore, in a number of the family trees, it seems to present "Nahash (father of Abigail)" as married to Jesse, father of David. In fact, it further

  • Re: Logos to EndnoteX

That's a good question about adding new books that you purchase in the future, especially since you might improve the existing EndnoteX export of Logos and therefore not want to delete all that work. Is there a way to create a Logos group based on a date that the books were added to your library? If so, I do not know how to do this.

Hi Nelson, I see what you mean. I also upgraded to EndNoteX4 (version 4.0.1) and used the same import filter from before, and many of the publishers field showed up like this "Wm. B. Eerdmans Publishing Co. %0 Book." The problem this time around is with Logos4. In short, they have added three spaces in front of every instance of "%0 Book" and this causes

Hi Alan, Thanks for your feedback. I'm glad that the post was helpful. It took me some time to figure out everything and I have good computer skills, so I wanted to help others avoid repeating all that effort. I actually posted the same thing in the comments section for that blog entry. However, Logos did not allow the posting--I have no idea why, except

  • Logos to EndnoteX

If you want to convert your Logos bibliography of books to EndnoteX format, here is how to do it. Most of this post deals with fixing the Import Filter in EndnoteX. http://blog.logos.com/archives/2010/06/exporting_your_logos_4_library_to_zotero.html Using CJ Ransdell's suggestion from the above blog, I exported from Logos using the Refer/BiblX style

  • Re: Dictionary of Mission Theology

I have the Evangelical Dictionary of World Missions and it is a very helpful resource. Chuck Van Engen was my mentor for my PhD and I have taught with him for years as Adjunct Faculty at Fuller. The EDWM is a great and very useful text. However, Shenk is intentionally trying to give the majority world a voice in the Dictionary of Mission Theology, and
