  • Re: Minutes of The Sessions of the Westminster Assembly Of Divines

Thank you Dave! This is a wonderful tribute and insight to the heritage of the Reformed faith. All - if any of you would like an electronic copy of the Westminster Annotations and Commentary on the Whole Bible (multi-volume by several of the divines published later in 1657) it can be ordered in PDF from swrb at below link: http://www.puritandownloads

Here is a sermon index for Wesley's "Sermons on Several Occasions" (which many have in base packages) and now can be added to a collection to show up in passage guide: 5618.John Wesley Sermon Index.docx Also, several Puritan sets that Logos has moved to production in the last year or so: Works of Thomas Manton, James Ussher, David Clarkson, William

Not sure if anyone else has also posted one for this but here is an index I compiled for those who have bought the Works of Thomas Boston, indexing his sermons as well as other extended expositions with Bible references listed in the Table of Contents for each volume 7573.The Works of Thomas Boston.docx Feel free to re-link in other posts or if there

  • Community Pricing suggestion: Commentary by John Trapp

I noticed Robert Hawker's commentary in Puritan tradition is in community pricing. Next to Matthew Henry and Poole, many regard John Trapp's commentary as one of the best of the Puritans, and some would rank higher than the others. Logos, please consider John Trapp's commentary. His large five-volume commentary is still read today and is known for its

  • Pictorial Library of Bible Lands, 10 Volumes

Not sure if this has already been requested, but if the pictures of this resource could be tagged somehow or indexed to show up in Passage Guide, Biblical Places/Things, L4 would be out-of-sight and would help bring the Bible into-sight for so many of us and those we teach. The benefits of this type of resource are potentially one of the greatest and

  • "Historic Views of the Holy Land"

The title available in L4 "Earthly Footsteps of the Man of Galilee" is a great resource for L4 along with others that pull up pictures in Passage Guide or Biblical Places/Things and it is actually part of an 8-volume set that would be great to complete. There are 7 other similar resources that go along with that title to make a set, many of which are

  • Re: 1611 KJV - why not in English Bibles Collection in prepub and can it be added?

I agree and was asking in the original post for consideration of any 1611 facsimilie or electronic ed with marginal notes and preface (with or without apocrypha, whether it's the "she" or "he" printing of the verse in Ruth, and not wanting to digress to debates as to which printing is authoritative). if Logos is going to take the work to convert this

Arguably the 2nd best Puritan book on contentment, following Jeremiah Burrough's "The Rare Jewel of Christian Contentment" 8611.contentment.docx

Thank you for the heads up Emile, which I was unaware of and have sent a message to Logos to ask if they can remove above post On www.gracegems.org there are other books that are not yet published by Logos, but good heads up for rest of of us to double-check Logos site before posting Doc files of public domain books. Thanks

  • Coming Events and Present Duties

This is a hard-to-find-in-print work by J.C. Ryle, a Covenantal Reformed theologian of historic premillenial persuasion with a futuristic view of Israel as a nation and prophetic OT passages of Israel, while neither ascribing to dispensationalism or supersessionism. He argues in the last 2 chapters that "Israel" has not been superseded by the church

  • 1611 KJV - why not in English Bibles Collection in prepub and can it be added?

Unless I'm missing something, unlike many competitors and inferior and free software programs, Logos does not have a 1611 KJV, only the 1769 revision (resource called "Authorized Version") and the 1900 "King James Version" It seems this is a glaring omission to the set of Wycliff, Tyndale, Geneva, etc., and makes Logos offerings of early English Bibles

  • Passage Guide suggestion: simple enhancement to Visualizations section

Can we please add the Lexham High Definition NT & Discourse NT to the Visualizations section of passage guide? It is a very visualized and helpful resource that would be helpful for Passage Guide to call out in this way and in this section for those of us who paid the extra $100 for this very helpful product Thanks
