Jim: Thank you for the logs. Do all of the layouts crash or a particular one? The best thing to do probably is delete the layouts.db file and start anew.
-
KS4J: Could you check the size of the file for me? It should be 1.8mb on disk. the file will be in: Users/userfolder/Library/Application Support/Logos4/Data/uinquefolder.xxx/ResourceManager/Resources Once there look for OTS_PENT.logos4. Right-click on that file and select "get info" In there you will see how big the file is. Thank you. Scratch that
-
Mike: Do you mean when you go through what KS4J is doing Logos4 crashes on you as well?

-
Michael: I've post this as a bug.
-
James: Could you be more specific about what you mean by looking at "people"? Are you in 'Biblical people' (tools/BiblicalPeople)? Have you searched anything? A screenshot might be helpful. Are you getting to it through a HomePage search? Thank you.
Hi Jeanne I am not Joe but I will take a guess at his first question... When you open Logos 4 at the very top of the window there is a clue as to which Alpha you are using. Please tell us. Tootle pip Mike
There is a post with an image depicting where to look for the version about 6 posts up by MichaelKares

Michael: The link is in my signature (below this message) where it says "How to report bugs."

Caleb: After you zoom in (you can do this with the click wheel, not sure if pushing command or control and motioning as if you were scrolling would have the same result), the pointer should turn into a hand, and when you click and move the mouse it should move the image that direction. So if I click and drag down on the mouse I'm able to see further
-
James: What Mike tells you is a true story. See http://community.logos.com/forums/t/14612.aspx. We're working on it though.
-
Michael: Forgive me but I want to confirm it did not. Have you looked in the Library pane to see if any of the books might have downloaded? Not everyone expects the same items to be obviously visible and I want to make sure they really aren't there rather than you just not seeing how to get to them quite yet. If you get to what I'm talking about and

-
Brad: I submitted a bug for this.
-
Tom: You're welcome. I only offhandedly saw them myself. I tried clicking on them by happenstance.
-
Jim: Yes, those are good to post. We need logs though as well. Did you go through the instructions here: http://community.logos.com/forums/t/6731.aspx
-
Robert: Can you try deleting the application from the App folder and download/install 17 from the direct link here: http://www.logos.com/logos4mac ? Thank you.
-
Lloyd: To be clear, you updated to Alpha 17?
-
Hey Everyone: The direct link to the download was not on Dave's release notes initially. It is now, and there is also a link to the release notes from the "Read this first" post by Cameron.
-
Alan: If your previous version of the Alpha was 16 rather than 16A this may be an issue. Another user had a similar issue . The solution is the same, click the link here to update.
