On initial start I had a blank screen
Was the whole home page blank or just most of it? Are you running on an older Mac?

Min Xuan had "Power Saver Mode" enabled and was getting a BITS transient error 0x80200068 . I found this by running BITS verbose logging in Command Prompt as an administrator. bitsadmin /list /verbose > “%USERPROFILE%\Documents\Logos Log Files\bitsverbose.txt” Turning off Power Saver Mode fixed it.

I'm not sure if you're familiar with Reddit.com, but there is a section dedicated to people posting PC hardware sales. You can sort it by hardware type. I've sorted it by SSD. https://www.reddit.com/r/buildapcsales/search?q=SSD&sort=new&restrict_sr=on&feature=legacy_search There is a website called PCPartpicker.com that people use to spec out a machine

Thanks, Dusty. I've passed these on to development.

Hi Dusty, Can you enable logging, replicate the behavior, and post logs for us? It seems the behavior Brandyn ran into was a result of a known bug, and likely the result of something different than you are experiencing. The instructions KS4J posted should suffice for getting the log files.
-
Hi Bryan, We suspect you may have a corrupted index. Let's try reindex overnight and see if that resolves the behavior. Open Logos with logging enabled ( Windows / Mac ) Click the "Command" box at the top of the window. Enter the command: " Rebuild Index " and hit the Enter key.
-
Hi Jack, I do not have a resolution for you at this moment, but I can confirm that despite the error message sync should still be occurring for changes to your documents, and when you create new documents. I didn't want you to think that nothing was syncing since you saw that message.
-
HI Michael, I'm going to email you a possible solution.

Can you post a log of Logos crashing when opening a different book? I want to compare the two.
-
Hi Randolph, I'm sorry Logos is crashing. Does it crash when you open only the one book, or does it crash when opening other books as well?
I suspect I have the same problem. Logos 7 opens to a white screen/window.
Does it look kind of like this?

What was the output when you ran the command we posted?
-
Hi Nathan, Please open Terminal application (inside Utilities folder within Applications) to run this command: sudo chmod -R 755 ~/ Please enable logging* and then try opening Logos after doing this, and if it still crashes, please copy and paste the output to this forum thread and attach the log files. *Logging instructions | https://www.logos.com

TimeMachine is not always a flawless process. I'm sorry you experienced that. Thanks for updating us on your progress though, Joseph.

Hi Melanie, Can you make sure your version of Proclaim is up to date? It should be 2.9 Our records show the last launch of it was for a version older than the latest. Hi MJ, I'm sorry this is happening. I can send you some instructions on how to get a ProcDump, or connect to your machine and set it up for you. I'm going to contact you offline with more information.
