Just edited the original post with the following: EDIT #2: If you post in this thread but don't hear anything from Sales for more than 12 hours, or if you post in this thread over the weekend, please know that we'll make sure you don't miss out on these great offers! Check out this thread for a note about how you can help us take care of you! http:
You have a fantastic name, of course!
I have the steadfast courage and conviction of an incredible man as well as my parents to thank for that. May I follow his example in every area of my life, by Christ's grace! For everyone else: If it's been a long time since you've heard from Sales, check out this thread

Wow! Thanks for saying something and sorry for the delay...we'll look into it right away. Thanks and stay tuned!
-
You should change your account name to Halo-dog as well....
Cat... nevermind.

There is something anticlimactic about being encouraged to hijack. If only Stephen had said, "Please don't hijack this thread!" Then we'd have smoked that thread in the mac forum FGH mentioned earlier.
The irony here is that up until halo-dog came in, you all had "hijacked" the thread...it's supposed to be off-topic
get people to change position in the difficulty level for the contest.
ummm....and what category would that put you in?
While in the army, I had a parachuting accident- my chute collapsed. Head vs. concrete... Head wins! concussion but no lasting damage.
Wow...yikes...glad you're still with us!
engaging non-believers on their philosophical worldview.
An interest close to my heart as well. This can super fruitful!
I just resent my email and got an immediate response. Thanks, Logos!

I am packing to head to the BEACH.
hopefully you didn't answer the "where you call home" question with too much specificity....or this could be a pretty dangerous statement. (Guessing this is also another reason why you prefer to only use Facebook lightly?)
Okay, my email came at 4:30 pm CT on Tuesday. I responded at 9:15, and now almost 48 hours later I still haven't gotten a response. Anyone else seeing that kind of a delay?
David, no doubt something slipped through the cracks on this one. I'll ask the sales manager to look into this right away. Thanks for saying something

fhg, Thanks for engaging on every level! In short, we thought it would be a great experience in and of itself. As a follow-up idea, I thought it'd be fun to throw in some Logos credit. Since the credit isn't really the point, I suggest that anybody who's primarily participating for the sake of the secondary aspect of this event choose to not participate

In other news, I just transitioned from an easy-level user to a moderate one....busy week, this has been!
-
Yep, that was the thread with 673 (not just 624) posts which would be actually be the longest. The math post was in that thread.
Yup. Meant 674 (673 replies to OP)....my bad.
-
See: http://community.logos.com/forums/t/6836.aspx
See record holding thread. See what would have been the next moderate-level Hide 'n' Seek question. See a forum power user who can answer questions before they're even asked:

For the sake of all who follow forum threads via a reader and don't see edits easily, I just edited the above post with the following: EDIT: Please post threads for this event directly in the Forum Week forum. If you have an idea which forum it would normally go in, please make note of that at the end to help us move them to their proper place for posterity
-
Note: I moved thread to the Forum Week forum so it's easier for newer users to see all the fruits of an event like this and so it's easier for us to track/judge.
-
So, the current record for longest thread ever in the Logos forums stands at 624 posts. The thread that holds second place is rapidly closing in for the title and leads the third longest thread by a country mile. (Seriously: Meet and Greet (plus sale) is out of this world!) We thought it'd be fun to see if we could try to break the current record of
Hope this helps,
Wow, that's easy! No way am I going to tell you what I did to come up with the direct links before, though! Suffice it to say it involved about half a dozen steps and, as a rather unpleasant mnemonic device, some very repetitious muttering of a multi-digit post ID "Whatever it takes to get it done,"
