Just got my Boox Nova 3 today was wondering if I’d made a mistake, frustrated with not seeing all the interface elements - your recommendations on optimizing saved the day! Thanks! I’ve only played with it an hour or two, but am loving being able to read my Logos books on e ink again (after send to Kindle went away). The Nova 3 is nearly identical to

[quote user="Clint Cozier"] Wow.....sermon editor is a great idea, but I've got an additional (important) step in my workflow. I've become a huge fan of mind mapping tools to structure sermons and lessons. For a while, I used markdown to outline using headings (as per the editor) in a text editor before writing but about a year ago started using mind

That was it! THANK YOU! It's been driving me crazy for the last few months. :) For the GIF, I used QuickTime to record a portion of the screen (File --> New Screen Recording), then ran it through a little $5 app I bought a while ago on the AppStore called "GIF Brewery".

I've been having an issue in Logos 6 where I cannot select snippets of text to highlight or comment on without it selecting the entire paragraph. It seems to happen when beginning a selection in one sentence, and going into another sentence. I've created a GIF below to demonstrate the behavior. (Hopefully GIFs work in the forums?) In the text below

I recently began using OmniOutliner for my sermon prep. When copying text from a resource in Logos and pasting into MS Word, it automatically adds the citation. I would love to see a similar feature available when pasting into OmniOutliner where the citation is automatically included in the "note" field for the row the text is pasted into. As it is

I do not.

Thanks for the reply! It happened out of the blue while studying this morning. I had a bible open, my notes, Study Bible and a Commentary. Nothing out of the ordinary. I'm on a MacBook Pro, 2.4 GHz Intel Core i7, 16 GB RAM, running OS X 10.9.1, Logos 5.2 SR-3 (5.2.0.0091) I flipped from the note I was working with to a previous note (both in the same

Notes have gotten better over time, but really annoying formatting issues still persist... Some background of my issue: I tend to make a large "Observations & Questions" note on each passage I'm studying to preach as a first step in my study. I also format things with bold, italics, and indents to mark what is Scripture, what is a questions, what is

Love the update. Usability and speed are both very much improved. Keep up the good work!

Thanks for the help - I'm up and running again!

Here ya go. Thanks!

Any single resource will do ti. ESV text, commentary, notes files. So will choosing any layout. I had attached the LogosCrash.txt and LogosError.log files from this morning above. Which other files should I upload?

Here's the Error Log

Before church early yesterday morning I tried to open Logos 5 to review my notes and it continually crashed. I couldn't get past the startup chime. In fact, it usually crashed in the middle of the Logos chime. I was able to start it by holding the Command key down and starting with a blank layout, but as soon as I tried to open a resource it crashed

Thanks for the help. So obvious that I missed it. But it'd be nice if it wasn't an all or nothing deal. Really hoping this gets added...

Is there a way to hide note indicators and highlights on the iPad like there is via visual filters on the desktop app? For example, I've been toying with the idea of using a "Preaching Notes" note file for my sermon notes on a Sunday morning, either displaying them in a frame below the text, or just taping on the note icon in the text to reference them

Any idea if it's possible to add fields like that into personal books?
-
This looks like it has made an appearance in L5! In all of my "Opening Up..." series of commentaries you can now "fill in the blank". (I think it's new to L5, I'd never seen it before...) Curious where it saves the notes files, though... --- AND, if/how I can incorporate a field like this into my personal books...

We're having the same issue. Works perfect on iOS devices. Nothing on Kindle Fire, though "Follow Presentations" is enabled.
