Forty-two?! I want a book budget like yours!! Thanks to everyone for the good info. I have put aside the dollars and will bide my time. It's not like I don't have about 500 books already here, between my base package and ones I have added recently on my own!!

I agree. I'd rather have a great product than one than only hit the deadline. I have put my funds aside and will wait until each of the eight(!) I have on order is ready. The Lord knows what I need and when. I have to assume that when things arrive, their timing will be right. The email info is very helpful! I didn't realize that and I will look for

Thanks for the info! I will temper my excitement and put some funds aside in a PrePub envelope in my software so there are no budget surprises. :-) Maybe Santa Logos will bring me at least one of the three before my two week Christmas break...

I have a layout, "3-EThics Reading". I tried to fix the capital T, using the little "edit" pencil first in the list on the left and then in the list on the right. It did not save using either method. I tried several times. Not a big issue. Just letting you know for the future. I pulled up the layout, deleted the named one and saved it again, as a work

I just got this package and I love it! The more it is pulled into my study, the better.

This is a better answer! You can see it all, logged out, here: http://www.logos.com/comparison

OK, I'm very excited! My first THREE PrePub orders are due out within the next week and I've been looking over the sample pages in anticipation!! Being a software developer/project manager/tester, I have to ask - what kind of delivery date slippage should I expect based on your experience?? I don't want to get my hopes up and then be completely crushed
-
Yes, please, to both!

My system is faster now and I even have Power Lookup enabled in my layout!! I saw in the Resource Manager that there was a lot of disk writing going on every time I touched Logos - History, Preference Manager, Fonts, etc. Not only was Logos working but the Windows (Vista) Search Indexer was also working in the same folders. I turned off Windows Search

I have had the same issue with a note kicking me out of edit mode while I am typing. I'm sure, after seeing this over and over since 4 came out, that I'm not causing it. I'm a software developer and tester and I can't pin down what is making it happen...but I will pay attention each time it happens and report anything useful I might find! It is sure

I know there's a lot of disappointment among the scholars and power users of previous versions and resistance from those set in their study habits and tool usage but while studying today I am moved to say I am so happy to have found Logos. Having recently tried to get back into scripture study after a long period of no study at all, you can't imagine

I learned several cool things from watching it, like Ctrl-L to bring up my library in a nice floating window and turning on the Visual Filter in the bible or book of my morning reading layouts to link it to my reading plan so I can see my start and stop points in each. Those are truly cool! Each item I glean makes me that much happier with the product

I'm glad you asked. I don't understand, either, since I don't know what the X and Y lines are measuring. I'd love to know more about a lot of the tools. I'm hoping more docs will come out as the push to get fixes out the door dies down! I do that all day so I know what it's like.

The drawing of my screen sections is much smoother and less jumpy. Thanks!

I have SO been needing this!! Thanks, Kaye

I started with Logos 3 a few weeks before Logos 4 came out. It got me really excited again about reading daily and doing real Bible study! I wasn't looking for huge packages of books or original language work but wanted the interlinear texts because I was curious. I bought the Bible Study package. Logos 4 came out and, without really investigating,
