Logos is a business. Its job is to make profit, no matter how spiritual minded its products are. I am a Christian. My job is to use discernment in what I do, by the Holy Spirit's guidance and God's Word. That is one reason I rarely visit the Logos site or message boards these days. Seeing the new stuff or hearing of a sale can encourage me to spend

I have uninstalled the app. Since I use it mostly to do my daily Bible reading and look-ups during Sunday services I will wait until the sync issue is fixed. I tried using it today and it created 12 copies of "Read the Bible in a Year" on my desktop app. That is the default plan which was not on my desktop and not one I use. Until it is fixed I will

Praying for him and his family. I'm really sorry about your friend. Kaye

Along the lines of downloading specific collections, I'd like to be able to download prioritized resources as one group since they are the ones I use most. Kaye

Thanks for the resource update this morning allowing me to remove ASV from my downloaded resources! Kaye

Chris, they are beautiful! I pray that the Lord will have them ready to come back to your loving home very soon, that they won't need the heaters and will be able to maintain their body temperatures just fine! And Paul, congratulations on your firstborn son! Children are truly a blessing from our God. Kaye

Bummer. Thanks, guys! And thanks for reminding me about Logos 3. :-) K

I know there must be a way. I searched the forum and played around on my own. Can someone give me a clue? I am trying to learn to use them and the pop ups get in the way! Thanks!! Kaye

Alabama24, your comment made me laugh and I appreciate that. If you are actually from AL, I was in your state a few weeks ago. What a beautiful place it is with each person I met more concerned about his neighbor's situation than his own. Really impressive! Kaye

I'm with you, Nicky! It has been worth the heavy cost because I read constantly and came in handy when I had a roommate who liked to retire early. I am an insomniac and read all night. The iPad was a blessing since it is backlit and I could turn out the lamp and keep reading without disturbing her. I only use Logos on my laptop for my inductive study

Thanks, Nicky! I am only here for a short time while I have decent internet access but it's good to "see" everyone. :-) Garrett, I am reading A Narrative of Some of the Lord's Dealings with George Muller, Volume 1 and am about 40 pages into it. Thanks for trying it out and letting me know yours works. I have the latest update on everything so I will

I know you guys are frustrated at the delays but I love your sense of humor about it, Fred! Maybe it will help to remember those of us who were not blessed with the funds to even put our hats into the ring for the wait. I would love to own this collection and I hope you will all find the wait very rewarding in the end. Peace, Kaye

I had to upgrade to get it. Sales did not say why but only that I would need to have Silver to have it. Kaye

I am loving this set of resources and the fact that I can enjoy them on my iPad since I take it everywhere with me and can adjust the font now that I have broken my reading glasses. However, it changes from two columns, as I have it set, to one column sometimes when I turn the page and sometimes the whole app just closes up and goes home. :-( Is anyone

George, reading the post title was the first laugh I have had today so thanks! Should have known it was you. :-) Unfortunately, I can't help with your campaign since I am a humanitarian volunteer starving on a stipend right now! I just wandered onto the forum to see what everyone has been up to... Peace, Kaye

I will check the news and pray... Kaye

Mine do that when I read from one on the iPad and come back to the desktop later. And they don't seem to do it all the time... Kaye
-
Thank you, Floyd. I will...

I use VerseByHeart. Even though you have to type in the verse to set it up, I think that is OK since it helps me to memorize them. The developer is very responsive to questions and the drills have been helpful. Kaye
