I just want to thank Sean for the light of caution. All software has bugs and sometimes those bugs can bite! It makes no sense in my book to allow software; especially software I depend on, to auto-update. It is easy to manually update after backing up and when you have time to deal with changes and bugs that may interfere with your use of the software

  • Re: Lexham Survey of Theology - feedback

While I realize this thread started a bit over a year ago, I just discovered it while researching this resource that I also just came across in my Logos library. The concerns raised in this thread regarding theological focus vs breadth (denominational/theological perspective) perfectly reflect why I have personally never been enthused with Lexham's
But Catholics by training are precise, methodical (Aquinas), logical (Aristotle/Boethius), and historical ...
FWIW, this applies to other denominations as well. Presbyterians, for example, are know to do everything "decently and in order" :) That is to say; excellent cross referencing is important to all of us. Thank

Thank you Graham for the syntax to search highlights . This is FAR faster than the search method I tried above. This search syntax for the same highlighting I searched with my method took only .05 seconds compared to the over 6 minutes for the method I tried . Again Thank you. This is usable.

I'm very discouraged to hear this. I admittedly had not attempted to search or filter based on my highlights for awhile now, but just tried after reading this post. The only place that provides the apparent ability is Basic Search; where I can search for individual highlights, but I had to wait over 367 seconds (over 6 minutes) for 1,832 results in
This is the expected behavior if the styles in question are your own custom styles rather than the default system styles.
I only use custom styles. The new context menu will be useless without showing the previews for custom styles. This is a request to add capability to show previews for custom styles

This is one of the features I consider to have taken a turn for the worse in later versions of Logos. It is not my intention to bash Logos and maybe I'm in a minority, but I hope it's appropriate

  • Text Comparison differences

I'm comparing three versions of Scrivener's Textus Receptus with the Text Comparison tool in Logos 7, which is showing differences where there are no textual differences (Ignore case, Ignore marks, Ignore punctuation all checked). The example below in Acts 28:6 is just one of numerous throughout the text. Looking closely, I'm able to see some marks
