  • Re: Best Resource on Forgiveness

Puddin: Even if persons do not believe in the supernatural, Blake Healy's experience can be taken as a metaphor. My own interpretation of some of his writings: When we are not careful with our words, we cause wounds in people. Those wounds when not healed by God, and held on for too long (through bitterness, resentment, etc) do start to get infected

David Paul and DMB: Very interesting, thanks for sharing your mind. From my super limited perspective (open to receive more insight), I think it all comes down to your true surrender to God's heart. It does not matter if you are a seer or prophet, sage, or plain sheep like me. The ones that try to lean towards God within their finitude, will receive

Look up Christian A. Schwarz in Amazon. There are other systems, but he was one of the first ones to put it together.

Kiyah: I am trying to find a FL interview (in the blog) to an author that used the word Baptist as an acrostic to define the principal characteristics. If not mistaken Biblical was the first one, but do not recall the others, I do not remember if they were advertising a book, but it all seemed interesting and helpful. I did write down the acrostic but

Excellent. [quote user="MJ. Smith"]I have no problem believing that oral tradition can be maintained accurately for many centuries. Therefore, if the Jewish people say that they retained an Oral Torah which social and political concerns made them start writing down circa 3rd century, I will take their word for it until such time as I study it thoroughly

MJ: what xnman mentions is very interesting and important, not to debate here, but to investigate further. For some strange reason, members of particular traditions in the forums have a super ability to focus on key issues and show what their accepted support for those are in a neat way. Even the awesome resources available sometimes do not give it

The Scofield Reference Bible), except that you have to work from its Index of topics/themes at the back. I think Thompson would be the better tool whilst agreeing with the analysis referenced above that

MJ: Maybe I am not communicating well. Is there a sure way to know what oral Torah given by Moses is? If there is, then comparing what groups teach with relation to what it truly consist about will tell you if there is human tradition in play or not. Anecdotical evidence of the existence is not true objective evidence. I do not think Moses gave Oral

Christian: If I am not mistaken, some more modern ST have a "christian living" category, I would imagine that is where it would fit. Could it include Oral Torah?, a group of leaders believed that Moses gave Oral Torah besides the written one, and it was given to certain persons. It seems that with time, a group of wisdom sages (the supposed guardians of oral Torah) decided
