No problem at all. Looks like everything is back up now. If you're interested in maintenance details or information about what we're doing in Operations, follow @FaithlifeOps on Twitter and read https://ops.faithlife.com . Of course we'll always try to keep the forums up to date as well :)

Sorry everyone, our maintenance this evening went a bit long. We're getting everything back in to place right now. Logos.com should be back up in 30 minutes or less.
-
Brian, This issue has been resolved. Sorry for the interruption.
-
Proclaim should be back to 100% now.
-
Craig, I'm sorry we were doing scheduled maintenance. There is another thread you can read for more information. Maintenance is complete and you should be able to sync again. We'll do a better job at notifying you next time, my apologies. We most definitely support Proclaim and are putting tons of effort in to making it even more scalable/reliable.
-
Maintenance is complete. Thank you for your patience and sorry for the interruption.
-
Thank you all for your replies and I want you to know that I empathize with your situation. It looks like we will be finished in the next 10 minutes. We did not anticipate this many snags cutting over to the new disks. I will talk with the Desktop team about how/if we can integrate maintenance notifications in to Proclaim. I think that is a great idea
-
It should still backup to your desktop, this maintenance should not prevent that. I just used USB stick as an example. I apologize that for the inconvenience. This time was chosen as one of the better times that we could make this move, due to the relative lull in traffic on Friday afternoons. We'll do a better job about maintenance notification in
-
Unfortunately no, but it looks like there is a good chance we'll be done before then. You could also use the USB backup functionality to bring your presentation with you.
-
Due to some unanticipated network slowdowns, we'll be extending this maintenance to the next 5 - 8hrs
-
Starting at approximately 2:30PM Pacific Daylight Time / 9:30PM UTC Proclaim Sync will be unavailable for approximately 2 - 4 hours while we migrate the database to more performant disk. We're making this change because we have been seeing some slowdowns on the existing database on Sunday mornings. Currently the slowdowns are not user impacting, but

Interesting. I was not able to reproduce the behavior you're describing on Firefox 26 until I disabled JavaScript. Would you mind navigating to about:config in a new tab on Firefox, search for javascript, and let us know what the value of "javascript.enabled" is? If JavaScript is disabled it will look like the screenshot I've posted below
-
I'm unable to reproduce that behavior using Chrome on Mac OS X. What browser and operating system are you using?

Your logs indicate that the application cannot properly establish a trusted connection to our secure sign in service. It also looks like your system clock is set to January 1, 2003. Your clock being over 10yrs behind may cause problems for Proclaim when trying to establish a secure connection to our servers. Could you try syncing your system time to

We had some infrastructure issues this morning for about 30 minutes. I'm still actively looking in to what caused the issue and I'm sorry you were impacted.
-
We've had a bit of a hiccup with the main database server that supports Proclaim this morning. We are actively looking in to what is going on. I'm sorry for any inconvenience.
-
Did you try shutting down the app and restarting it?
-
I'm seeing some rare / intermittent issues with syncing up changes this morning due to an issue we're actively working to solve. As silly as this sounds... Have you tried forcing the application to sync, waiting for it to be successful, and re-starting the application? I'll keep looking through the logs to see if there is anything more I can do to help
-
I think I see what is causing your issue on the server side. We'll do our best to get a fix in place this week. Sorry for the trouble and thanks for hanging in there. We're working hard to quickly improve the reliability of Proclaim.

We just rolled out a giant improvement to how searching works in Faithlife.com. Please give it a try and let me know how it works for you!
