You have just illustrated WHY I want to learn original languages. I might not ever be proficient, but "the search for treasure" is to great to ignore.
If, you have not already purchased that Library, my advise to you is to enroll in RTS (Reform Theological Seminary)'s Virtual campus' online Hebrew class with Futato
I would concur that this is good advice. Moody Theological Seminary also does a modular version of this (do pre-class work online, attend class for a week

In the exegetical guide under the "Word by Word" section. Remember, Hebrew is not available so you can only do this in Greek at this time. I also believe that this feature is only available in certain base packages so you need to have Scholars or above.

The Lexham High Definition New Testament is exactly what you are looking for. It is connected to the Greek, but designed for those with little/no Greek training. The Old Testament version based upon the Hebrew is in development.

Ironically, just on Tuesday of this week I created a PDF flyer from the email that I received about the promo code. In my flyer I told our congregation that I am a happy LOGOS user for many years but that it is not very affordable for casual bible readers. I briefly explained FSB as a study Bible designed for those who use a tablet (about 5% of our
I do think Logos makes it much easier to find the number to call than many software companies ... which means that we make more calls. More calls probably means more inappropriate ones. So thanks for being so available even if we complain when things don't work out the way we hoped.
I am very happy with my resources. I have Scholars Silver then added BDAG/HALOT, NIDOTTE, & Lexham Discourse Greek New Testament (7 volumes). I am watching the Lexham Discourse Hebrew Old Testament which is about to come out of Pre-pub pricing. The Lexham Discourse resources will be a HUGE difference between beginniers in orig languages and those with
Hi David, Yeah, I didn't word that so well. You are correct. Hitting done takes me back to the original text, but not back to the Word study page which is where I'd hoped to go. In my rush to finish my previous post, I didn't explain very well. Thank you for the clarification.
When I click "Done" in the upper lefthand corner after the word is pronounced, then it takes me back to the text I was viewing when I launched BWS. Is that what you mean by "shutting down the program completely"?

I don't recall when I bought this resource. (I believe I bought the CD when it was still a STEP program and when L3 scanned my Hard Drive for resources it found it and included it into my LOGOS library) then when I upgraded to L4 it came along for the ride. Last month I bought a new laptop and did a fresh install of L4 (I didn't want to run a risk of
Thanks for the input. Can you tell me more about AudioNote. Sounds like something I might like.
I don't want to take advantage of Logos forums to discuss a non-logos product. You can search for it in the iTunes store.
