Lots of people writing sermons today and having updated to Monterey are going to find this bug... Here's a workaround - https://community.logos.com/forums/p/201886/1183930.aspx#1183930

Thanks for this solution -- bumping it to the top for anybody writing a sermon today that realized something was wrong...

Is there a way to take John Piper's Look at the Book series out of the "Sermon" section in the Passage Guide? I don't want to hide them from my library completely. These are not traditional sermons and including them in this section actual obscures Piper's actual messages on a particular text. They should probably be included in the Commentary section

Thank you so much! I didn't see that option. Glad to know it's there.

I used the new Sermon Builder feature this weekend and was glad it was very consistent with v8's previous layout. One request: give the option to hide the Slides view in the editor itself. The sermon builder is a word processor for me, not so much a slide editor. Seeing the slides as I write is not necessary. Also, the "yellow highlighter" in the preaching

When exporting a Sermon Editor Document to MS Word the Heading 2 designation reverts to Times New Romans 11pt font.
-
Does this turn into a Note document or is it a different kind of document within Logos?
-
Can you share a screenshot?

Logos is awesome! I've used it for years. However, Notes have always stumped me. So I'm looking for some best practices for using Notes to prepare for an expository sermon. I want to highlight in resources, compile them into a singular document, and be able to draw from them to write into a sermon manuscript with the Sermon Editor. What are your Notes

Is there any way to permanently set the size and view of the library window when you pull it up in Logos 8? I always get a skinny window that I have to resize every time I want to look for a resource (see screenshot).
-
No. I think I found the solution. I resized my windows and it appeared once again. I may have been just a few pixels underneath the screen. I went from full page to a tad smaller and it is showing itself again.

With the download of 8.2 this morning it seems the immediate Information Tool Tips that would come up on the bottom left of my screen when I hover over a word for translation/parsing has completely disappeared. The setting is posted as "YES" in my preferences, and I have restarted the app multiple times but no fix. Anyone else experiencing this bug

I remember Faithlife trying to kill this "feature" off in 7, so it seems they've tried to again in 8, however.... I really found it helpful to have the drop-down box that told me whenever there were either library resources updated (and don't @ me on this... I know how to find it in the library using "last updated" filter) or software updates to newer

Is there a way to return to the font typeface that pre-existed before Logos 8 in the mobile apps? I find the new font difficult to read and like the option to use the Default (logos 7) setting in the desktop app. The new font face is not really my favorite.
-
This may be asked before so please forgive if that is the case: Pre-Logos 8 training had us create "resource specific notes", especially for highlights, etc. and this seemed to be the main way to highlight in the mobile apps. Logos 8 Notes have obviously changed the game on that completely. I had a good system in Logos 7 for creating a note file for

Given that there is no key (apart from the translations designated color) - how does one interpret the "Compare Versions" graphic that the Passage Guide will pull up? I've attached a screenshot for help. What do I do with this?

Lately, whenever I create a speaker style in a Sermon Document and save it, the system will later delete or swipe clear those saved styles. Is this a known bug?
-
How were you transitioned to the most expensive plan? I was given the "Starter" plan... and this line was the killer in my email "We’ve migrated you to Faithlife Connect Starter because it’s priced at $89.99/yr, a savings of $10." Except I paid $99 on January 2... So good on ol' Logos for figuring out how to sneak more money out of us.

The last two Sunday's I've run into a problem where all of my content and markup from a sermon document won't transfer over to my iPad. Often only parts of the sermon document will transfer over, but there doesn't seem to be a rhyme or reason to it. My internet connections for both devices (desktop and iPad) are solid, I'm running the latest software

Mine is hanging right now... "indexing" but not really... has to be force-quit to get out of the application. Happened as a result of the automatic update. How do I fix it??
