Personally, I wonder whether it's an issue of an update to Linux, or the program (like Wine) breaking Logos for Linux and finding it takes FL a lot more resources to fix a Linux version than it's prepared to commit. I don't have any objections to a Linux app. But I'd want to find the reasons against before assuming it was some kind of disinterest or

Looking it up, I’m seeing vocatis as “call, summon; name; call upon” I suppose the “summoned” sense could be translated as “called to be.” But I’m no expert.
-
Doing a Google search, I’m seeing that the Douala-Rheims Challoner , the Confraternity Bible and the Knox Bible were translations. Of those three, I’ve only seen the Douay.
Thank you David. We already had a case (very tentatively scheduled for late 2022) to update the lectionary. I made a note to examine this whenever we do that work.
Thank you. As I noted, this was probably a rare case (what with the Second Friday after the Ascension falling on the same day as the Solemnity of
Just like the rest of us, the decision makers at Logos will be accountable in that great day for decisions they made that drew people towards Christ or away from Christ as well as what motivated their decision - User counts, money, desire to spread the gospel, putting tools in the hands of teachers, preachers, and evangelists
The Qu'ran is there for apologetic purposed. The Mormon material is there for the same purposes. Just because Islamic and Mormon resources are offered on Logos does not mean Logos is including them in orthodox Christianity.
Added: This morning I was over in Accordance, re-arranging my library ... I was reminded I have 3 Japanese Bible translations. I wondered if Logos ever brought back (they used to have a Japanese interlinear) any Japanese Bibles. Nope. But I was excited to see Faithlife's special offering: Pornography, Ideology, and the Internet: A

This probably happens so rarely that it caught Faithlife by surprise. But the Solemnity of John the Baptist was transferred to today because of the solemnity of the Sacred Heart tomorrow. But we have:
I'd still like to see the Mormon Studies Collection (22 vols.) to make it through Community Pricing and be published. There are a couple of reasons for this. I do think the collection has some historical value, if nothing else. It would also send FaithLife a signal that there's a market for materials on the LDS. Perhaps that would

I think the Sahih Al Bukhari had hadith on how that worked. It can be found for cheap on Amazon or free in websites.
The FL collection looks like a great set with a decent price. It appears to be available in the "Logos 9 Philosophy Library Expansion, L" (save apparently for volume 2), which is on sale for 50% off. I may have to purchase that expansion.

If FL does them , the people invited must really honor the nondisclosure agreements.
You mean private Betas? Some users have admitted/indicated in the forums over the years that they have been involved in one or more private Betas of new versions of Logos/Verbum.
Must have missed that

Ugh, I just noticed this was a Proclaim subforum, not “General.” Please ignore my comments. Sorry.
They are already really cheap, for example Logos 8 Bronze for only 80 Bucks. So i thought there must be some sort of catch😄
There is. Once you’re hooked, there’s no escape…
David got there before I could. If you have the Great Books of the Western World in Logos, you can find it there.
Or the Works of Aristotle, which is where I got my version. I first learned of the quote from a Peter Kreeft paraphrase and wanted to delve deeper. That how I picked up the Aristo collection on FL
