Easy way to tell if your Mac has 32-bit or 64-bit EFI, is to run the following command in the terminal: ioreg -l -p IODeviceTree | grep firmware-abi

Amy I think you would be better speaking directly to tech support. The way that you are writing seems a little aggressive. Please bear in mind that no one here has to help but do through their own goodwill. If you want to talk about refunds etc. please do this directly with Logos.

I bought an i7 laptop to run Logos quicker. I must admit I was expecting it to be a lot quicker but even Windows didn't load that much faster than a decent high end Core 2. Also battery life was very poor. Personally I would go with an i5 that is also quad core. Save the money and buy some resources in Logos!!

Just out of interest how did such an obvious problem get past all the developers?
-
I don't mean to be rude but surely the best solution would be a) what the users want b) books tend to have 2 pages Not sure what value 3 columns has over two and why I would comprehend better what I am reading. Just would like the option that is all
-
Don't mean to shout, just want to get noticed. By the way I'm using the mac version
-
ok thanks I don't think that adjusting the window is a good solution. Yes it works but really the option to select columns should be there. It's like reading a magazine. I'll suggest it Dan
-
Just updated to Beta The fonts in the books are all messed up, looks like a very poor scan. Reading view looks bad Also 3 columns in reading view?? Anyway to make it 2, three is just silly Dan
-
Thanks to both of you First point - I will try using search but agree, I always want to click on the drop down categories on the left to select a category not start a new one. Second - I will have to look into that Dan
-
great thanks good to know

Is there anyway to organise the information under File - New. There are a bunch of reading plans, prayer lists, clippings and notes but I have to scroll through them all to find what I want. Not very intuitive. Ideally they would be broken down into categories. How does everyone else organise theirs? Dan
-
I was reading back in April 10 that columns were possibly being added to the reading view mode. Has any progress been made on this as it is tricky to read in the current view. Also a nicer way to turn the page would be good Dan

Hi Bob Firstly...thanks I do appreciate you taking the time to respond. I am a "believer" in the product and thanks to your explanation can understand better the issues you have to weigh up each day. My frustration is really because I can see the potential and just want to use it!! It promises so much but rarely delivers a smooth ride. I look forward

What I would like to know from the developers is this: 1) Do you think it is ethically wrong to release a product that is not complete, is not optimised and quite frankly fool people into buying it when you know full well that it is riddled with bugs? 2) Do you think it is fair that people are paying you hundreds and hundreds of dollars for an unfinished

Well the devotional has now appeared correctly today. Odd Jack re the categories I was talking about. When you click on the library on a mac the books are listed. Under the wiki link that was posted the pc version appears to break the books down into categories. Is this not available on the mac version yet? Dan
-
I noticed this. Anyone got an answer?
-
Jack I have moved the book over as you suggest. However there are no other devotionals in the list but they do appear on the home page. The new devotional still does not show up though
-
in fact none of it applies to mac as you cant break down the categories like you can on the PC. Is this a feature that is coming?
-
Thanks chaps FYI the wiki dosnt quite apply to mac as there is no type field in the detailed view Dan

Hi All I have just bought an additional daily devotional. Is there anyway to make this show on the Homepage? It dosn't seem to by default even though I have the option ticked Thanks Dan
