Thank you very much, Dave! That's also very helpful. Yes, I do have that dataset.

Wonderful, Graham! That was just what I was looking for. I wasn´t aware of the "Speaking to God" interactive. Excellent, thank you! /Andreas

Prayers directed to Jesus such as the prayer of a father in Mark 9:24: “I believe; help my unbelief!”. Or as the prayer of the blind beggar in Luk 18:41: “Lord, let me recover my sight.”

Hello I'm looking for all prayers in the gospels that are directed to Jesus. What's the best way to find those instances? Thanks in advance! Andreas Holmberg

Hello Trying to use the canvas tool to do a topical study on Jesus´"my commandments" in John 15:10. I like to insert a numer of relevant bibel passages as a kind of explanatory mindmap of. However when inserting passages the reference does not follow along. Is there a way to automatically have the canvas tool add the reference of passages added? It

I'm stuck with bright yellow and don't want to manually change the colour of everug new note created. 2) Can I set a defalut icon color for a given notebook?

Hello The eight IVP Dictionaries for the bible (four for the OT and four for the NT) are wonderful resources. I have them both in print and in Logos. In print all of the resources have both a subject index and an article index. Today I discovered that three of the NT dictionaries in the Logos version are missing those two indexes. Only the "IVP Dicitonary

Hi Dave Well, that's the way I have always done it but in Logos 8 clicking the created shortcut will only sometimes open the linked notebook. Many times the most recent notebook will instead be opened or sometimes any random notebook. However, my chief concern is that all shortcuts to notebooks in the Favorites pane that were created using Logos 7 or

Hello I have loads of studies of different topics arranged in my Favorites. Typically I will gather passagelists, one or two collection of clippings as well as word studies e t c. And I will also have created one or more notebooks about the studied topic. I have added shortcuts to all the connected types of documents under the topic in my favorites

Alright, I understand. Thank you very much for your reply.

Thank you very much, both of you. Very helpful indeed. If I purchase the " Logos 6 Ancient Texts and Translations Bundle, L" I will get both resources. Great! Andreas

Hi In the Textual searches section of the BWS-guide I don't get any results from New Testament Apocrypha nor from Psedigrapha. I find this odd since I have resources of both types. For instance I have "The Apocryphal New Testament" in two editions (Hone and James). I guess there are specific editions of the New Testament Apocrypha and of the Psedigrapha

Are the files downloaded to the default drive C: or is there an option to dowload the video files to a different drive. I run Logos from SSD (which is my C: drive) but would prefer to keep the video files on the larger fixed hard drive (in my case D:). Is that possible? Andreas

Thank you very much to both of you! I'm currently into the Book of Acts so the Louw Nida tip was excellent to me.

Hello Is Logos able to create a list of all names (of people) in a Bible book? I tried clause search using "person:*" and "person:?" but the syntax is wrong. I also tried morph search using @XP (Indeclinable/Proper Noun) but it returns other stuff besides peoples names and I'm not sure it will include all names. Any suggestions? Any help is much appreciated
Stephen there is no Sermon File Type or Illustrations File type. I use bible notes as the file type and then follow the format in the sample sermon. They key is the table at the start of the sermon / illustration in you word document.
Hello Andrew and others I'm trying to decide which file type to use for my sermons

Thank you very much Dave! You were spot on. I had manually added a type "Bible" resource to the collection and for some reason that confuses the program into only returning the first six results. I've removed the resource from the collection and now it works perfectly! Thanks again! Andreas

Well, the study bibles are added as a commentary section. I've tried adding them as a collection section but that's not very useful since that will return every single occurrence of the given passage, rather than just wherever the passage is in a heading. I'll post a screenshot tonight when I'm at the computer again. Thanks! Andreas
