• Re: Logos 5: Pastors and Parishioners
I wish this were true! I'm a pastor yet most of my purchases have been out of pocket, including my L5 upgrade. Wouldn't happen without the payment plan and careful juggling of our budget. Even then we've had to set aside some other things we had anticipated purchasing. I get a small expense account from the church, one which

  • Logos 5: Pastors and Parishioners

Instead of Starter, Bronze, etc. versions of Logos 5 upgrades, we really need groups for pastors and other groups for parishioners. For example, those Sermon Starter resources really only benefit Pastors. Why should Parishioners buy them? Its the same with most of the other Resources being offered. Most are useless to the average Parishioner. Perhaps

  • Logos 5 Upgrade Datasets and Kindle Fire HD 7" 32 Gb Android.

I notice that Logos is now offering Logos 5 as an upgrade to Logos 4 with new Datasets and Resources. Frankly, I rarely open Logos 4 on my PC anymore. I only use my KFHD7-32 to use with the Logos Bible Android App. If those new Datasets can't be used on the KFHD7-32, then the upgrade is meaningless to me. I believe that lots of folks have migrated their

  • Bronze Upgrade to Logos 5 - Questions

Right now I own Logos 4 - Bible Study Library (LE). It is implemented on my Kindle Fire HD 7" 32 Gb Android Tablet and works great. I am considering: the Bronze Upgrade to Logos 5 for $ 316.66. The invitation states it is: A strong foundation for Bible study. Logos 5 Bronze comes with the essentials for studying the Bible by passage and topic, as well
Have you checked that it is downloaded? It may have previously been picked up via wi-fi.
Yes, it is downloaded. Even with WiFi access right now, "Morning and Evening" still does not appear on my Devotion page. It is ironic but it ALWAYS appeared there with the KF1G. Why the KFHD7-32 handles it differently is a mystery

Will my Kindle Fire HD 7" 32 Gb Android Bible also be upgraded to Logos 5?
No - it runs the Android Bible app. But it will coexist fine with L5
That is a major problem since I ONLY use the Logos Bible App on my KFHD7-32 now. I just keep the PC version installed to get new upgrades

  • Re: Logos 5 missing NIV and NET
When you upgrade to Logos 5, you keep everything you already own in Logos 4. The NIV and NET will only be "missing" for new Logos 5 purchasers who have never owned a Logos 4 base package. (And they will still be available for separate purchase at logos.com.) If you choose not to upgrade yet, Logos 4 will keep

  • Logos 5 missing NIV and NET

I looked at the offers for Logos 5 and did NOT see the NIV or NET which I have now in Logos 4. Why were they omitted? Does Logos 5 include all the resources I have already in Logos 4 or will they be deleted? If I stay with Logos 4, will it still operate?

It does not appear on the proper pane. On the KF1G it always appeared there. On Logos PC I have it as one of my favorites.
Can you clarify what "proper pane" means? Glad it worked well

  • Test of Logos Bible during Super Storm using Kindle Fire 7" 32 Gb Unit

I experienced an absence of heat, light and WiFi during the last 2 days of the Super Storm on the Eastern Seaboard. During that period I gave Logos Android Bible a good test without any access to WiFi using the KFHD7-32. I had loaded all the resources I needed prior to the storm including maps, bibles, dictionaries, commentaries, etc. I could do full

  • Re: Kindle Fire HD or Google Nexus 7--how well do they work with Logos/Vyrso?

I've been using the Kindle Fire HD 7" 32 Gb for four days now. It gets along with Logos much better than my old Kindle Fire 1st Generation did. Fonts are improved immeasurably and the Bible Book icons on the KFHD7-32 are like day and night compared to how they appeared on the KF1G. Plus, I've downloaded lots more Logos resources on the KFHD7-32 and
"Cannot use the software" is a bit of a strong statement. You can't do some types of searches or use something like passage guide. However, you can still read books and navigate assuming a particular book is downloaded beforehand.
I just received my Kindle Fire HD 7" 32 Gb unit. It is completely different from the
Jack, I would get the 32GB. For only an extra $50 (only half of the $100 that Apple charges for a similar upgrade for its iPad), you double your storage, which may come in handy if you want to download a large portion of your library (especially nice if you're not always near Wi-Fi) and have storage left over for non-Logos

Has Logos ever offered the Zondervan Dramatized NIV Audio Bible synced to the text? I'm getting my Kindle Fire HD 7' 32 Gb on Oct 25, 2012, and would really like to buy this. ft should fit just fine in the 32 Gb memory. I'm using the Kindle Fire with the version shown on the subject line. The icons used to select Books from the Contents are still much too small. It appears the size has been customized for smart phones and needs
