• Personal notes: great but still have a few problems-Android v 2.0.6 on Kindle Fire

I noticed that all my notes from my PC app now appear on the Kindle Fire android app verson 2.0.6. That's great. However, if I write a note in the android app, a blank "title" is created on the PC app. I can remove it there by clicking the red "x." Also, on the PC app the note contents does not wrap and cannot be read after the end of the line. ft does
If you tap on the "View Settings" buttons (The one with the two A's where you adjust text size), there is an option Link Panels. I think that is what you are looking for.
In version 2.0.6 the link setting still does not work. Maybe 2.0.8 has fixed it.
For some reason my Kindle isn't allowing me to get updates. It never installs them after downloading them. My Logos program shows it as Version 1.1.3.2. Maybe I'm misunderstanding something. I do have the "Unknown Sources" option allowed so that's not the problem. Any suggestions?
From the Main Screen go to Apps

If one owns the Kindle Fire and receives the Logos update notice, just clear the notice. The Parental Controls can remain on. The Amazon store will update it with those controls on and just give a notice it took place without any user intervention. The notice requiring parental controls to be turned off is for the direct update from the Logos site and

I use a Kindle Fire. I received a notice that Logos had an update to version 2.07. However, when I tapped the notice, I was informed it could not update since I had parental controls enabled. I disabled parental controls but the notice had disappeared. I presume I will get another notice tomorrow while I have parental controls disabled. This is the
Just because something is free doesn't make the invasion of an advertisement justified.
Version 2.0 beta will be out soon as described in another thread here. It says there: "On 7" readers or phone sized devices the app opens directly to the Read view. You can use the top left "App Control" gripper to access other app functions
I'm sorry for asking such a dumb question, but I can't figure how to update to this beta version. Where do you set your update channel to beta, like the first post says? Thanks in advance, Tim
Go to Menu \ More \ About. Near the bottom is the Update Channel. Tap on that and change the entry from "stable" to "beta.
I simply do not like the ads. I want to be able to go directly to the devotions and/or readings. It should be an option to look at Logos ads... they have already gotten over $2,000 of my money.
I just went to my android Logos home page. There were 3 ads. 2 of them were FREEBIES: George Whitfield Sermons and the Faithlife

  • Re: "Welcome" Page Advertising

Ads appear on the Logos for PC Home page as well. Thus, the ads are standard for this product. They really don't bother me. I go straight to my devotionals from the android home page. The ads are mere one line summaries and not intrusive.
Recently, I updated a reading plan on my computer so that I would no longer be a year behind my plan (Made the plan and promptly ignored it). Maybe Logos News information should be linked to prior user interests. If we like Bibles, give us more kinds of Bibles and Bible references. If we like Greek books, give us more of those, etc. Logos already knows our interests since all our reading is linked to their servers. Right now all the ads I get from Amazon are linked specifically to my interests

I've noticed that Logos now offers direct updates to their program with version 1.1 and higher. However, Amazon Kindle Fire settings can block that. Kindle parental controls must be removed by going to Settings \ More \ Parental Controls and turning them off. I usually leave them with the following settings: Parental Controls: On Web Browser: Blocked
