  • Re: Copy Bible Verses on Click and Replace with Passage Service

Does anybody know how to adjust this behavior? I've seen number 1 work now on two Logos 4 installs and I can't find out how to do it for mine. I can't figure out number 2 at all.

[quote user="Jack Caviness"] Let's see now. for the last 3 years people complained about closing the wrong window pane because the active pane did not have a distinctive indicator. Now we have a distinctive indicator, and Logos receives complaints that it is there. Hard for me to imagine how a 2mm bar can be so disconcerting. Personally, I find it to

  • Re: Copy Bible Verses on Click and Replace with Passage Service

Thanks for the reply, but it doesn't answer my question. I am using the service to copy a reference. I just want to know how to set the style used when it copies it in. It's copying the verses in a style that doesn't make the style I use for my notes.

  • Am I the Only One that Finds Logos 5 Looks Worse on Mac than Logos 4?

I hate to have such a negative title, but I'm just curious if I'm the only one noticing this. I used Logos 5 for a few minutes about two weeks ago on a Retina MBP and didn't think it looked that bad. I went ahead and did the crossgrade to Logos 5 a few days ago and now I'm honestly annoyed to look at it on my pre-retina MBP. Logos 4 was always a little

[quote user="Donovan R. Palmer"] Probably my biggest fuss, and we are again talking something that has no functional value, is the tab area at the top of each panel. I don't like the big bold blue line at the top of the active tab. I would prefer it to be shades of grey like other mac apps. I would prefer that the 'X' to close the tab would be more

  • Curious what These Two Default Fonts Are in Logos 5

I'm curious what this default font is in particular in this screenshot (it's different from the "skolar" font for resources) and what the default font is that's used on resource tabs. I like the default one used for resources, but can't identify it.

Is there an easy way in a tagged Bible to switch out the Hebrew for the Septuagint when looking at an Old Testament passage?

Bob, Thank you so much for sharing this information. I'd like to politely add my input to what some others have posted. 1. Please give us a way to opt-out of all community features in the product. I can see that some might enjoy those features and understand them, but there are many of us who do not need/want this kind of functionality in the website

Just adding that I always had to force quit Logos 4 and now it looks like if I use Logos 5 it's the same thing. Has anyone solved why it will never quit and always has to be forced?

[quote user="Dominick Sela"]Not to belabor the point Rene, but I think you missed the point. I was trying to explain if people are getting all worked up about the Internet/data/mining issues that Bob is explaining that relate to Logos, what about the other two dozen programs on their computers that are doing the exact same thing, or worse. No complaints

I think the "counting cars" analogy is a little flawed. I'm not asking Logos to "count" me driving in the city but then to hide the count based on my registration. I'm asking for the option for Logos not to count everywhere I go in the first place. It's a very easy fix. It doesn't require Logos to alter any databases. It simply requires the desktop

Bob, First of all, I really appreciate your openness to sharing your business philosophy. We all appreciate it. With that being said, it would be helpful if you could clarify something. You seem to keep point out how pervasive tracking is even though, in some cases we aren't even aware of it, and you pointed out it's in the Logos EULA. I appreciate

  • Is there any way to import notes?

I exported all my verse by verse notes from Accordance to an rtf file before I switched over to Logos. Is there any way I can import those in? I guess I could load them in via personal book builder, but I'd rather have them in notes files.

  • Re: BUG - In 4.5 cannot create link to multiple verses that are not sequential

Before 4.5, you could simple put the passage itself in the hyperlink box, you didn't have to copy as url. This used to work, but now does not and is what led to my original report of the issue.

  • Did 4.5 break default font for Notes?

I have my default notes font set to Helvetica, but now every time I add a note the note is using "Athelas Logos" by default and I'm having to change it to Helvetica manually. In addition, the font on all my notes seems really small now. Did something change with font scaling on notes?

  • How do you link multiple verses in 4.5?

I'm trying to create a simple link to multiple verses, in this case Matthew 4:3,6 in a note and in 4.5 when I highlight that, choose the link option on the toolbar, and put in that as the link it doesn't create a link. It does seem to create links fine for individual verses though. Is there a certain format I have to use? This seems like it should work
