  • Lexham Research Commentary Resource Swap?

So I own the Lexham Research Commentaries, but noticed that one of the main Greek Dictionary links is to the Colin Brown NIDNTT. I own the Colin Brown's NIDOTT, and then the revised version of his new testament works by Moisés Silva (NIDNTTE), so it wouldn't make sense for me to buy the Colin Brown version of dictionary, but then I cannot access

  • Commentary Set Discounts Reflected in Base Package Prices?

I am curious, does anyone know if the March Madness commentary discounts makes the Logos base packages (that include said commentaries) cheaper or if the prices remain the same regardless of the commentary discounts? Thanks

  • Error installing Logos 7

So I live overseas and so it takes me forever to download anything. (I think it took me about 15 hours to download 149MB of data). Anyway, I previously had Logos 6 Platinum (I think), but then just purchased Logos 7 Bronze. I first tried simply opening Logos 6 to download the Logos 7 through the sync feature, but I think I needed to download about 1GB

  • Re: New $35 Kindle?

Kevin, I do plan on using it more than six months, but would expect that it would, like most technology, only be useful only for a couple years. Why do you ask? I was planning on only using it only for Logos, and thought that for $35 it was worth the gamble. Bryan

  • New $35 Kindle?

I fully realize that this cheaper Kindle is not the fastest tablet, nor will it be able to hold an entire library, but with about 8 gigs of memory, do you think this would be a cheap option to simply run the Logos App. with some of the most key resources in one's library downloaded on it for offline use or just a waste of $35? http://www.amazon.com

  • Re: Chinese pop-up Translation

Thanks Philip that works. I also wrote Michael Love the owner of Pleco (before we had this thread) and he wrote me back a couple days ago and he had this to say: "We actually already do this on Android through our “Screen Reader” function; have customized the integration for a few popular apps like WeChat and plan to do a lot more of them in the future

Thanks for this. Although I don't have a Mac, my wife does. I currently use Logos app on my phone because I can cut and paste into Pleco, but it can be time consuming on a long passage but it's not a big deal. Thanks, Bryan

  • Chinese pop-up Translation

Is it at all possible to create an add-on (much like the ones available for Google) that has a pop-up windiw that appears when you hover the mouse over a Chinese word (which has the pin yin and English translation), for those of us still learning Chinese? thanks, bryan

  • Re: Hermeneia and Continental Commentaries on sale and looking for feedback on it

I was told the sale on this series ends today at midnight. Still on the fence. Of those of you who were previously on the fence as well, what pushed you over the edge to either purchase or not purchase this series? For those of you who purchased it, did you find that you have been using the resource pretty regularly? Thanks, Bryan

  • Re: Huge encyclopaedia: The Dictionary of Christianity and the Bible

Super Tramp: I realized that for me it took about 2-3 hours (or more I just left my computer and then came back later in the day) to get past the converting part of the process (and the entire time the progress bar didn't move (stayed at about 25%) and then another 30 min or so at the "Compiling phase" (bar moved to about 50% but then stayed there)

  • Re: Huge encyclopaedia: The Dictionary of Christianity and the Bible

I downloaded the files correctly and was able to convert the dictionary when I was using Logos 5, but do to an issue I had to re-download the dictionary in Logos 6 and convert it again. But this time the conversion never finishes. It seems stuck at around 25% or so. Anyone else have this problem with personal book builder in Logos 6? Suggestions? Thanks

  • Re: Logos 4 to 6: Why Upgrade?

Todd, I did something similar. Did you buy L6 Silver and then add on the cross grade to get the additional features? Just wondering how much it would be to go Bronze or Silver and then cross-grade versus having to buy Gold.

  • A Little Disappointed

I was so excited about the Biblical Encyclopedia and Museum (15 vol) that came out today from Community Pricing: https://www.logos.com/product/8500/biblical-encyclopedia-and-museum But found out that it is incomplete. One of my favorite parts of the Commentary are the cross-references and quotes that are along the side of every page. But none of this

We did it! Bidding will close on 11/29/2013 at 12:00pm Pacific time for Biblical Encyclopedia and Museum (15 vols.). The current community price for this product is $25.00. Thanks everyone. But just to let those of you who were on the fence, I just wanted to inform you all when the bidding would close. So thankful Bryan

Thank you for all of you who are already in. Can I convince others of you to let go of a little of your Black Friday or Christmas book budget to get on board? What's $25? 87% off, that's pretty sweet! :) Ok I will stop bothering you all about this series now. :)

Just trying to take one more shot at trying to get this PrePub into production. We are above 80%, I can almost taste it. If you were thinking about getting this commentary, now is the time to pounce!
