I am finding that large clipping files are extremely slow to respond (ex. typing, opening, and closing). I also OFTEN crash when typing or moving around a large clipping file. (Large meaning 30+ individual clippings, I have some with more than 75) I'm wondering if it is the same with large note files? (my few note files are very small) I am having to

Personally still looking for Logos to upgrade topic search instead of the current down-grade from the L3 topic search. I know it has been said that L3 didn't efficiently do topic searches. However, L3 is STILL (8 mo. later) head/shoulders above L4 in topic searching. (which I used 20+ times a week)

I'd say you've noticed correctly. The slant has seemed to pick up since the L4 release IMO.
Hi Jeremy, Like others, I don't know either... however Bob did make a very interesting point that's relevant. He commented that on the remaining features there was something like 5-10% of users who were vested in each feature---a different 5-10% on each one... And the data they looked at was on the usage stats to make Libronix better

Bryan, I am going to be purchasing a computer with in the next few weeks, so I have been keeping a close eye on the internet for any deals. I have found the website logicbuy(dot)com has the best around by far... For the same price of that Toshiba (there are also deals for that brand on the site) I have found an: HP DV7t i7 (Edited) 17in Monitor 500

Ahhh... The classical: The Haves VS The Have Nots... If you don't know Greek, Hebrew, or Aramaic... You can't quite preach as well as the rest of us. Like a pastor can't effectively use any language tools if he doesn't know the languages. Sounds a little Gnostic doesn't it? I have no formal language training. By using the tools provided by logos with

Just about every time I use the guides, I'm reminded of how I'd like to have this option....

I have found... the LONGER the note/clipping file the SLOWER the response in typing (actually slower in just about every way... IE the longer the file the slower L4 responds in general... even multiple crashes when I've got my largest files open) I have had to make multiple notes/clippings for the same subject in order to get response time back to something

Such a great idea!!! Is there a centralized planning group that sets these things up or is it strictly set up by individual users?

David Barton's work through Wallbuilder's and getting back to showing us what the founding fathers originally wrote and their thoughts through those writings are great resources. I'm getting this one as I eventually want to get Wallbuilders collection. With the liberal media and revisionists changing
How does this impact Logos? Simple. Local storage has to exist and will exist for years, if not, decades to come.
I completely agree. I'm O.K. with the cloud being a source of back-up... NOT as the sole source of access to resources... Logos isn't the only place I've been seeing that is taking a 'hit' from users who want
We have a Print / Export Feature.....!!!!
VERY excited about this! Pleased that Logos listens to its customers.

Don't know if I missed something in the last few months, but I'd just like to be able to search article titles/headings (ex. Journals) and chapter headings/titles....
IMO, notes should be like L3, but beefier and more powerful. Full-blown word processing? YES!! Pinable, scrollable notes? Yes. Finely adjustable font/point sizes? Yes, yes, yes. Graphics embedding? Yes.
One day they are going to have to pay attention to the outcry... I just hope I don't have to wait for L5...

A. I do not have the "compare versions" option in my passage guide. And I do not have it as an option to use in customizing my own user made passage guide in the "individual sections" I do not have highlighted differences in my "Text Comparison" box and do not the the 2 options (represented by the capital letter ) next to the bible versions at the top

Also on the "Text Comparison" box/tab... I floated it like in the tourital video and expanded it. I now notice that the video shows two letter (As) on the upper right of the bibles used. But I DO NOT have that on my screen. So I am missing the "show differences" icon and the "show base text" icon... Anyone know what I'm doing wrong or havn't done?
Can you please add a quick easy way to rate and tag a resource while using it in a tab? Currently it seems I have to go to the library and search for that resource before I'm able to do that. thanks!
Absolutely Needed!
