For now, Look at Paul Meathrel's repair steps near the start of this post. It involves deleting shortcuts.db.
I am certainly aflicted! I had gone through that particualr "repair" process last Friday. I went back today, and tried it again (it was already renamed to the x_shortcuts.db) naming it z_shortcuts.db, but

Great! I've done it again! [:'(]...CRASH...[:'(] Was dragging a command prompt to the short-cut bar and managed to crash V4 again and it keeps crasing when I try and open it... (I thought the prob was fixed, because I had seen today where people were doing similar things, or so I thought) I went through and tried to rename that file again, to no avail

Thank you Thomas, yr a saint!

"Absolute power corrupts absolutely"....

I've had some similar issues... :(

I've gone blank, thought I had it doing this the other day, but I'm having trouble finding how to do it again. Where do I go to set links? Prob. another post about it somewere... but figured I'd run into the EVIL BOT that is roaming the forums this morning....

seems that who ever is doing it, is still at it. i'm coming across forum pages that I did just have access to (within 15 mins ago) and now it has that "page has moved link" on it.... :(

I am having similar issues. Especially when resizing. It also happens somethimes when bringing up new tabs in L4. I'll often have to wait 4/5 seconds for it to all streighten out and be readable.

Think we should all give the customer service support staff a major THUMBS UP for the colossal effort they have put out for the first week of V4. Here's mine

I had some conserns and frustrataions (still do have a few) that I posted about on day 2 of the release (day 1 of my V4 use). To my suprise, I got a personal email from Mr. Pritchett adressing those conserns and frustratons (some of which were sales related and essentially none of my buisness really). I must admit that made me "sit up" and take notice

GASP! A real weatherbug developer? I love that program!!! It's almost as popular as Logos Software!

I do have a pastor friend who gave me a call and told me about the iphone app before I even knew anything about it. He doesn't use Logos (yet) and was excited about the app, so it is working in reaching non-users. I've been trying to get him on board with Logos for a while now, and that iphone app may have done the trick.
Interestingly enough though, if your "goofy" finger slips and hits the Spanish version of the Bible, then it appears to be forever in that little list, although I cannot read a word of Spanish. I would like to be able to easily hit the delete key, so I do not even include Spanish books in my library.
I believe that

I don't even have an iphone and I'd rate it 5 stars!
Can you please add a quick easy way to rate and tag a resource while using it in a tab? Currently it seems I have to go to the library and search for that resource before I'm able to do that. thanks!
Absolutely Needed!

That was one of my fav things (many) about V3... Sure seems like V4 is far less customizable than V3. I do hope that will change.
-
If your talking about the passage guide, it can be fixed by making your own custom passage guide and not having "My Content" as an option.

It is essentially none of my buisness. but was curious what the new sales strategy for V4 is considering that retailers are now out of the picture? Seems that V3 users are now more important to sales than ever (word of mouth adv.). I'm curious how the company is going to get itself into the public eye besides "using" us V3ers. I'm up to the task and
I wonder if there would be any possibility for people to buy version 3. I have students who have not yet purchased Logos and, at least for the time being, would be better served to have both versions. Dudley
I believe a new boxed V3 will be hard to come by. From what I understand as of Nov. 1 (V4 Release) retailers
