I'm just glad someone actually read my ranting! lol

I only met Bob once,
This was at Camp Logos, right? I recall you showed me how you present using the Logos 3 notes, and we talked about how Logos 4 notes weren't flexible enough for your needs. I think 4.5 actually adds much (not all) of what you wanted in the notes system, including many

Blair, They are well worth the price and you would benefit from purchasing them. I am looking forward to the next edition coming out...Camp 2. The sales personnel can help you with a payment plan here on the website.
I'm told they are, and I tend to believe it. Only, being a relic from those

MJ. I think... I should thank you for assuming my discernment is of high caliber... While I understand what that article is saying factually, I am at a loss in discerning your implied intent of posting it. (implied because it was not explicitly stated) 8,000+ posts!? wow, thanks for all you do around here!

I just realized.... too late... I should have just posted this as a new thread... Just FYI... It was not my intention to give new "life" to the negative.... My original intention was to thank the "gems".
First time reading the thread, even though I saw it earlier. It is interesting that 3441 times the thread has been read/viewed, even though it was started January 1. There are older threads on the forum which do not even have as many views. Looks like most forum members are more into debates than discussing the software

I looked (briefly) through the products and did not see a bundle of any kind that would relate specifically to children's ministry. So... I'm suggesting it. Thanks!

Thank you for the reply... I guess a post in suggestions is in order.

My wife is a children's minister and I am looking to introduce her to Logos. I looked (briefly) through the products and did not see a bundle of any kind that would relate specifically to children's ministry. I may have over looked it. Thanks for your help!

The only couple of things I would agree with is it is expensive and I also would like highlighting on ipad. However, you said "outdated"... I would completely disagree. I have 2 other Bible software programs and Logos blows them out of the water. I know Logos is working on updating their applications on all fronts constantly (lots of eggs in the basket

I wonder if it will include the NIV 2011...
What is the 'pew Bible' for Southern Baptist Convention ?? [If NIV then most likely - if KJV then no way or maybe]
The SBC doesn't 'have' a Bible version, each Church is autonomous and has its own preferences. SBC affiliated Churches

Bump
Are you aware that you can export passage Guides? Once its in Word or some other program you can then copy the text from there. Open a passage guide and hit CTRL + P. I admit I only read the title and a couple of posts so I might be missing the exact idea you are Bumping.
My need
Will this make any difference to Logos? Will Baptist pastors be more likely to use the software that Lifeway owns?
As a pastor of a Baptist Church who cooperates with the SBC, my opinion is that Logos is so far ahead of the pack when it comes to functionality it will not make a difference. If things were a bit

M.J. I really appreciate you posting this, very helpful to people who are more visual learners like myself.

I'll throw in some 'proof texts' here just for 'fun' concerning selective special promotions... Yall can argue over context and application if ya like ;). Prov. 20:23 Diverse weights are an abomination to the LORD, And dishonest scales are not good. Rom. 2:11 For there is no partiality with God. James 2: My brethren, do not hold the faith of our Lord

This is a major issue with me and the number one reason why I would disagree with many who would say Logos is a Christian BASED company. In my opinion they are a FOR PROFIT BASED company with Christian 'overtones'... While I could proof text my point I'll refrain.
