Hiphil perfect, 3fsg should not have the dagesh forte in the ssecond radical. Instead, it should be a hiriq yod.
-
I thought about that, but since I haven't messed with it much, I don't know if I can erase the notes once the issues get fixed, and I didn't want to end up having a document attached to the book that then read as "here's were you all screwed up before you fixed it." So I decided to post them here.
In chapter eight, 8.4.2. the bet should be a nun.
I looked it up to see if that was the one I was forgetting, and got confused. I kept looking at it and saying, "but, it IS a nun!" Then I realized that I was still looking in the hardback book, and not Logos. Oops

Paradigm chart: regular verbs. Hiphil 3fsg is missing the hiriq in the hiriq yod: should be הִפְקִּ֫ידָה not הִפְקּ֫ידָה The Imperfect 3mg hiphil in the paradigm chart is missing the prefix. Page 215 סָתַר Hiphil to hide, conceal [something], pf. הִסְחִּיר : the pf. should be הִסְתּיר Page 217 (exercises 30.b.11) אַל־תִּשְׁפְּכוּ־ם should be אַל־תִ

I've been working through the book on Logos, and have noticed some errors. I've submitted them using "Report Typo," but it occurred to me that if there's anyone depending on this book in Logos for learning Hebrew this fall, there's a chance it'll mess 'em up. So I thought I'd keep a running list of the things I found here until the errors are updated

Thank you. I ran through the steps, and still had to erase the Prerequisites program in the Microsoft Fixit program. After that, everything loaded fine. However, that was the same thing that happened the previous time (though I just uninstalled Prerequisites then, rather than doing it through the Fixit program). So I guess I'll have to wait until the

Whenever an update comes out, I get an error saying that I already have Prerequisites installed. I've gone and deleted the file, allowing it to be reinstalled, and that update then goes through. The only problem is that as soon as the next update comes out, I get the exact same error message. It has only started with the last two updates. I read through

I actually did that, and all it said was, "Application opening (and them date and time stuff)" "Application closing (and then date and time stuff)." That's how I figured it might be something to do with the program staying open somewhere in my computer

Duh . . . Just went in to "processes" in my task manager and saw Logos still open. Killed it there, and it started right back up, no problem. Guess there's a different between having a bunch of computer knowledge, and being computer smart, isn't there?
-
So here's my problem. I opened Logos 5, and it went into "Logos is Preparing your Library" Strange, since I didn't think anything was downloaded/updated today, but I might be wrong. Okay. I'll let it sit since it says it might "take a while." However, after a couple hours, I check my Windows task manager - "performance" tab. CPU usage shows 0%, nothing

This way, I don't have to keep looking every couple of days! I really eager to see it. Also, will it be available as a download onto a tablet?
-
So I've downloaded just about everything I can find in my library dealing with original languages. Then I went offline and found out that I still don't have the ability to use the parsing (or locating) helps and jump to a lexicon without cutting and pasting (and identifying the root word). Is there any support in the future for parsing and locating

Again, thanks... that info REALLY helped. The page is absolutely clear to me now, and I can make a much more informed decisions. I do appreciate it.

Thanks. That helps. I'll go back and check it out now. And yes, I was clicking the column heading.

Here's my dilemma. I am looking at the "Custom Upgrade Discount" page for my account, trying to figure out whether I should upgrade, or just cross-grade to the new engine/data set later on. However, I'm finding some strange things on the comparison charts between the Diamond and the Portfolio (I'm looking under "New to you." . For instance, it is saying

aargh!! I'm half tempted to reload 3 just for that!

Does anyone know if the flashcards have come out yet? If so, can someone provide a link to show how to make them ? Thanks!

Thanks for your responses. I should have stated that within the context of Logos being a great product that I have thoroughly enjoyed, this is one of my few frustrations. What really got me, was that 10 months later it dropped. However, I DO understand the overall value of the product-and also recognize that what we are NOT paying, is the overhead of

Ok, I know these things can be a little worrisome. Dominick is right, your laptop is running cool. Heck, my DESKTOP is only 5 degrees under yours, (of course, that's because i have oc'd the snot out of it on air). Anyway... If you aren't yet relieved, let me give you a bit more technical help (Dominick was right again, but this way, you can see it for

I usually keep an eye out for Pre-Pub offerings. When one comes out, I will give it a hard look. Many times, I have made the commitment to buy it, even though I may not need it at the time, because I know that Someday I am going to need it. Often times, I do this when it isn't exactly financially easy, because 1. I have always been under the impression
