Thanks everyone. I am now a beta tester and can report that sending to kindle works really well so far. Again thanks for all your help.

How soon will this be available for the general public?!?!?
Now, if you don't mind switching to the Beta channel. I have been using 5.3 since Beta 1 with zero issues. Otherwise, who knows? I would guess 3-8 weeks. But I have no idea, really. Jerry
Wonderful news, hallelujah.

But explain why, since you allready have Vyrso where you can read your Logos books, why does it not limit the discussion to eInk?

  • Re: Requesting user feedback: Send to Kindle feature

Actually it does limit the discussion to eInk, because if you have a tablet like Kindle fire, or any other tablet, you can download Vyrso and read the Logos books from there. Logos has allready provided for people like you. The question here is if Logos books should be available for Kindle with eInk, the kindles that were available even before Kindle

  • Re: Requesting user feedback: Send to Kindle feature

Since there seem to be a lot of questions about the legality of copying logos books to kindle, it would be great to have the export to kindle included in logos, so that there can be no question about the legality anymore.

  • Re: Requesting user feedback: Send to Kindle feature

Unfortunately, when using the export function, it only allows you to export a max of 100 pages, so for exporting a whole book it's not the best method. So Logos, please insert the new function.

Dear Mark, Thank you so much for your reply, that is really helpful. I wonder however, why do you use Calibre for creating a ToC. You can quit easily do that in Word itself. Are you aware of this feature in Word? And if you are, is there any reason why you prefer to use Calibre? I'd like to hear your input on that. Greetings, André van der Leij

I don't know, I just had some bad luck, I couldn't say if they break quickly. I just know that when they do break, Amazon is very kind in replacing it. Even when I don't buy a lot of books from Amazon. Here in the Netherlands we are legally alowed to download books for free, as long as it's for our own use, so I don't need to buy much. And I use my

Amazon is very generous in replacing broken Kindle's for free. I'm on my fourth device and have never been asked to pay additional money.

For many years I have mentioned this, but never any response. So I had allready given up. I now have to copy everything to word and then sent it to my Kindle. I would love to have this feature in Logos, it makes Logos so much better. The books in Logos are not only for study and prep., they are also nice to just read. And reading on a laptop or reading

  • Re: Kindle?

I do it quit regularly, either parts of the book or the whole book. Just select the whole text (sometimes it needs to be done in 2 or 3 times, because the text is too large to do it in in time), copy it, and paste it in word. The next thing I do, is create a table of contents in word. 1.st make the chapternames 'heading 1' and if you want you can make

Thanks for this information. I've nicely converted a Logos book to Kindle, with a table on contents. I've even been able to get the real author mentioned, which I'm happy about. What I still would like is to move between the chapters by using the right button on the five-point button. Does anyone know how to do this? I wasn't able to sent the word 2007

OK, I'm convinced, I'm going to buy a Kindle. Can you give me some advice. I live in Europe, Latvia. Is it possible for me to buy a Kindle from America? Or will I have problems with charging the batteries? Or other problems maybe?

  • Change from CD to Download

I received this e-mail this morning that suggested I should change my pre-pubs from CD to Download. I don't konw how you all feel about it, but I prefer to have my CD in hand. For now, it is nice that it's a downloadable, quick and cheap, but what about the future. I've seen to often that companies stop to develop, or just disappear. I feel that when

  • Re: Apple iPad and Logos

I'me very excited about this. I love Logos, but when I need to read, I prefer to sit in my comfy chair, instead of on my deskchair, behind my pc. I've been waiting a long time for this device. And on top of it, I get so much extra's. This is really a blessing for me. But now I need to figure out if I can simply buy one in America, and will I be able

Well, apparently Apple is going to make an anouncement on the 26th of January, in a place where they usually announce new products. Also specifiactions have been leaked, and the purchases of groundmaterial has increased. The domain names iSlate are also in the possesion of Apple. All in all, it seems it's gonna happen. The question is when it will be

Thanks Kevin. The second one didn't do much, but the first one works perfectly, only the KJV gives an error, so that one needs to be unchecked when you install everything, otherwise the upgrade doesn't go through, but hey, who needs the KJV nowadays

Well, it doesn't seem to be needed anymore. I managed to create a new guide (that was also a first) and now it seems to work. It's even better now, because in this guide I alos selected all resources, which I didn't see in my passage guide, and it seems to give me additional info. I've typed in a new reference, and both tiles stay open, and go to the
