• Re: Bug or annoyance: 4.0d RC1: Typeahead when Logos is slow often does the wrong thing

I agree completely with these posts. Why should the menus be so slow. This is the first place where you "experience" the software. I could live with searches being a bit slower, but waiting for the UI is unforgivable in my view

I agree. Let's keep this forum for what it is meant: to discuss the software and help each other. There are a lot of forums where theological discussions are allowed, or we could always ask Logos to start a new forum especially for theological discussions
Ok, cool, so I can post random quotations from my resources that agree with my particular theological POV here on the forums right?
I get the feeling that your problem is not the resource, but the forum and you are looking for an excuse to verbally abuse other forum users. I have not come across any posts that I feel was inappropriate

I don't really understand your issue. From what book is the quotation, who is the author and what is the context in which it is stated? To simply call it drivel and offensive is a bit over the top, especially when you have not taking the context into account. Also, to argue that Logos have double (different) standards is not fair. The software chooses

  • Re: 2.04 GB of Downloads: Another call for selective downloads please

I am one of the users that have to pay for my internet per MB. Downloading more than 2Gb of data will cost me about $60 (not including my normal monthly fees) just for updating. This is not a small issue for some of us. Furthermore, our internet connections are not always very reliable or fast. Perhaps if Logos would bring out Media-only DVD's more

  • Re: Searching in Bible shows no hits

This is truly a major pain with Logos 4: indexing. On my computer indexing can take several days to complete, during which time Logos 4 is basically useless (for searches etc.). During my short use of Logos4 I had to go through this process at least 4 times. Is there no way that Logos can make this process a bit more streamlined? Or will we go through

Hi guys, can anyone give me the direct link for the setup file for Logos 4.0d? My bandwidth at home does not allow me to download, but I can download the setup from work. Thanks
My understanding is that Logos is going to make most new resources available for L3. There may be some though that are too dependent upon the features of L4 to be able to replicate them in L3 format.
Great news. I think that L4 has great potential, but at this moment L3 is still tops. Actually, I am currently using

  • What if I am nor ready to move to L4 yet?

I am a user of Logos software since 1997 (I think, can't remember that far back ) Anyway, I started with Logos 1.6. which still ran on Windows 3.1. I still remembered the feeling of seeing my Greek and Hebrew text on my computer screen and doing a search in my Biblical text. Anyway, I have been following the posts on L4 and having some struggles of
When you sign into www.logos.com (in your browser) with the same email address and password that you're using for the Logos 4 software, is your Customer ID (from LDLS3) listed correctly under "Libronix Customer ID" when you click on "My Account" in the upper-right? This is the link that lets Logos 4 import all your resources from LDLS3. [/quote

I have tried a lot of things, but no joy. I even reinstalled L4. L4 installed with no problem. I managed to lock into my account with no problem. L4 downloaded a further 28MB of updates and that installed with no problem. Still the only resource I have available is Meltho Fonts. My L3 books are in a custom directory, but I even ran the scan command

If L4 automatically does everything, then why is the only resource that shows up in my L4 the Meltho Fonts User Guide. Where is my other resources from L3?

  • How do I sign in to Logos.com

Hi guys, I have a working account at Logos. I downloaded Logos4 and completed the install. When I try to sign in with my email and password (from my account) I only receive an error: Unable to connect to Logos.com. My firewall is not the problem. When I try to register as a new user, using the internet, my current account is opened. Any ideas?
