Hey JoeK !!! Great to see you back again.
-
I just shut down L4 and restarted it again a few minutes later - 14 seconds. I imagine this is a memory thing since it seems to happen after a prolonged period of time doing other things. (XP and 2mb memory)
-
It just finished indexing after adding a new resource. I opened the program, probably an hour later, 64 seconds to open (no homepage, just a blank setup), another 5-6 seconds to sign in (I don't have to go through the process of entering any information) and then it "Preparing Your Library...." for another 10 seconds or so.
-
I almost always start from a blank page. While L4 tends to load fairly quickly after the first time (10-15 seconds), I find it frustratingly slow if it hasn't been used for a while, well over a minute to get to the signup, as long as 30 seconds to sign in, and quite frequently it then goes to "Preparing Your Library..." although that rarely lasts more

It's a problem to find the right balance isn't it. On the one hand, we have the Jesus loves everyone approach which taken to its extreme results in tolerance for everyone and everything - on the other we have the legalist approach which tends to lead to condemnation. I think we would all agree that the truth lies somewhere in the middle. Where we lie

Having had a long time interest in astronomy since I was a kid, I follow new developments in the field with interest, especially as they intersect with the Bible. They have now discovered over 400 planets surrounding different stars, most of them much, much larger than our own earth - more like the giant, outer planets of our own system. Just recently

I finally e-mailed customer support. It sounds like it was an oversight on their part. If any of you still haven't received this one, perhaps you should contact them.
pretty sure I'm running the OCD version...
Problem is...that requires a downgrade doesn't it - and who wants that!
-
... and I don't understand why some get so upset about these kinds of adds. Why don't we just ask for equal time and post our own adds, like "The fool has said in his heart, 'There is no God'" and post them along side.
-
I could have sworn I heard you passing by earlier today!!
-
That a big move!! We're just up the road from you, just west of Kingston.
-
I don't know Mel. I didn't download the files from the e-mail. I just tried the lbxls files now and it says the webpage can't be displayed. Those particular files don't show up in a computer search either. My guess would be they are internal logos files although why they appear in the e-mail I don't know.

There a whole lot of new theological journals from Galaxie on the FTP site. Anybody heard of a new collection out?
Not since I was a kid and I nearly threw up on the octopus ride.
Ahhh.... that would explain the previous avatar then.....
-
Ouch!! Never mess with an anagrammar! (Anagramer just doesn't look right)
-
There were no rapers in the Noah story. The rapers were in other parts of the OT. There was Amnon, the raper of Tamar, and various other rapers.
I think you should go back to anagrams Rosie.
-
Oh, just like Paul in Romans 7:15-20 . Paul gets a bit sidetracked in there too, just like us in this thread. I mean he's said it already once, and then he just keeps repeating what he just said, as if we didn't get it the first time.
That's what you get when you get stoned to many times!
-
It's all YOUR fault - you started it!!!
-
Not an isolated problem then. Just have to wait it out I guess.

...or more specifically, what's happened to "Life in a Risen Saviour"? It's been live now for over a week and still no unlock. Anyone got this yet? I've had 2 other prepubs go live since and they've been unlocked already.
