Hi Bill, We've isolated this as a server-side issue. The server team is working on a fix - we'll update this thread when the issue is resolved.
-
Hi George, if you turn the Scrolling View Setting to off does the issue still occur?
-
Hi Jacob, Just to clarify, Logos 7 and/or Logos Now will not add any new features to the Mobile apps (except for scrolling Text Comparison). The Mobile apps are distinctly different than the Desktop Logos 7 apps and only support a small subset of Desktop features. The mobile apps are intended as companions to Logos Desktop and not a replacement or mobile

Hi Levi, I'm going to correct myself. Newly created palettes appear to sync properly to both the Android and iOS apps (after a few minutes), but the highlights themselves do not appear properly on the iOS side, as you've mentioned. They do however appear on the Android side so this is indeed a mobile app bug. I'll write up a case for the dev team, sorry
-
Hi Levi, If syncing is that slow it's not a mobile app issue but a network or server-side issue. I'll ask the team if they are aware of anything that might be causing this.
-
Hi Levi, Can you please post the source image you are using for your custom highlight and/or how you created the custom highlights that don't appear to sync properly?
-
Hi Michael, Welcome to the forums! If you single-tap on any of the highlights you've created a context menu will appear. Just tap on the trash icon at the far left in the context menu bar and that highlight will be deleted. If you have multiple highlights, repeat the steps.
-
Please delete the app and install it again, and then use the app without signing in. Does the app still crash?
-
Hello, this is a known issue and is already fixed in the beta. Thanks for the report.

Hi Jimmy, Here are a couple of example videos of what Kevin was talking about. 1) Using the left arrow next to the scripture entry box: https://monosnap.com/file/8pPErutenbzY0o8jhQpstu62YvzMDe . This will only navigate back to where you were before. 2) Using a two-finger swipe gesture (left and right): https://monosnap.com/file/guaTgmB5Q2tqaUIQ1YP6KnisGYvSm1

Hi Juan, After a new install the app needs some time to update resources, notes, etc. Please leave the application open and make sure your device is online, then wait a while and see if the problem resolves itself.
-
Thanks for the report, this is a strange one. I'll notify the team. As a workaround please search for "wills" (plural) - this should also return results for "will".
-
Thanks Kevin Byford. I can't use "Report a Problem" under the Help menu so you can take a look at the app logs. Because the app won't open. What next?
As alabama24 suggested, please check the free space on your device and let us know how much there is.
-
There is nothing apparent in the app log.
-
Hi George, Can you please attached a screenshot of the problem?
Any update on this issue? I just experienced the same thing. Lost a bunch of highlights and note locations in a monograph. Using Ios 5.10.4.
Please follow the instructions at https://community.logos.com/forums/t/123105.aspx to check whether your highlights/notes have synced to our servers.
Would've been good to know this was happening at worst on the blog for those of us not always in the forums.
Hi Randle, I'll talk with the team that handles this to see if in the future we can add end-of-life notices to the blog. We announced this on the forums back in October, hoping 3 months would be enough lead time

Hi Davy, The Logos Mobile apps do not offer an app-wide feature to turn off community notes, although they can be turned off on a per-resource basis in View Settings. There isn't a Logos Desktop setting that will force the mobile apps to turn off community notes. I hope this helps.

Hi Jan, As you know, this scenario isn't supported and it's really not a Faithlife bug. I have over 112,000 resources in a test environment and it's not an issue. That said, my assumption was that you were using the ext4 filesystem, not FAT32. NTFS isn't the one to use as I expect the Linux kernel on your device likely doesn't have read access to NTFS

Hi Robert, All of these books should be available in the mobile apps. Please navigate to the Home page and enter "rebuild index" into the reference field and hit Enter, then wait a few minutes and try searching the Library again. Also, if possible please post Mobile issues to either our iOS or Android mobile forums - it makes it easier for us to find
