• Re: Two Revelation Commentary Pre-Pubs shipping this month

Where does Koester sit in the theological continuum? Protestant? Eschatological approach? Reformed, pentecostal?

  • Re: I'm Going Back to my Paper Bible ...

When I got Logos 7 years ago I tried moving all my reading to electronic platforms over several months. I discovered I found it easier to recall things to mind with a paper Bible - having that consistent visual aid. So I got myself a decent paper Bible and have used that for reading ever since - and I'm glad I've done so. That said, this Bible is the

  • Re: Parallel Resources showing multiple collections at once?

Ok thanks, I misunderstood how they work. I thought they would show parallel resource collections based on the passage alone, not needing the open resource to be part of the collection. I guess I can't do what I was hoping. Thanks for clearing that up for me.

  • Re: Parallel Resources showing multiple collections at once?

Sorry if I haven't been to clear. An example of what I'm trying to achieve is: I'm reading the TNTC on Romans 1:1. It does not belong to any collection. I want to check what a reformed commentary on the passage says, so I click PR, and want my collection of reformed commentaries to appear next to All PR. As it is, I need to select a commentary from

  • Parallel Resources showing multiple collections at once?

I'm trying to organize my commentaries into specific groups, e.g. Reformed or Arminian in approach. I've created the collections, but have two questions. If I'm viewing a commentary on say Romans 1:1 that is in neither collection, parallel resources shows no collections - just every PR as usual. Is this correct? My thought was it would show PR collections

  • Re: Black Screen upon maximizing

I have a similar problem, but it happens on any of my three monitors, and is worst on my native screen. Parts of the screen go blank, then come back when I mouse over the area..most of the time. On my native monitor, it was permanently blank. When I moved Logos to a different monitor it crashed. It is normally worst when first loading up, then it will

  • Re: Scripture Memory App
Any recommendations??
TruthPacker. Comes with several topically organised memory verses, or you can create your own lists. simple to add. Add mark when you reviewed verse, verses can be read outload, several translations to choose from, add the reference and it will add the verse. No need to type out the verse as with some

  • Re: BUG: loss of columns

I agree a preference option would be ideal, while keeping the setting of individually changed resources - which Logos does now.

  • Re: BUG: loss of columns

Righto, so it isn't a bug. Perhaps another area that can be improved though. If one likes a reading view other then default this means they need to change every resource manually.

  • BUG: loss of columns

A resource window that has any amount of columns utilized, does not retain column settings when changing resources via PRAs. I get three columns going to one column when I change resource, change resource again and it looses column view altogether. I like a single column for my commentaries, but every time I change commentary it changes my settings

  • Re: Close Books in Reading Pane

Books aren't closed so much as they are simply swapped for another resource. You will always have at least one resource open.

Hold down on the word, select lookup, select Bible word study. I had a resource update for the esv today, so make sure your updated - should tell you in the home menu. If you can't do the above that may be the reason why.

  • Re: Can you establish a file for Diagrams?

No! That will delete your files altogether. The file menu is like a quick search of all your files. I organise all my files in favorites as well. Use the file menu if you know the name of what your looking for, otherwise having everything organised in favorites is the way to go.

NIV isn't available on the i-phone due to Zondervan's choice. Perhaps we should start a petition to Zondervan requesting NIV allowance in Logos App
I was just wondering if anyone knew of a Bible, preferably in Logos, that did not display the verses, chapters and section headings? Thanks Ron
Easy, if you have smart tags, but not in Logos. Install smart tags http://wiki.logos.com/Smart_Tags then just type the reference you want to read in your word processor and

I imagine the problem is, if it was changed to scroll the other way, then when reading a Hebrew resource by itself, you would be scrolling right to left as well, which would be like reading an english book backwards
