Fixed Thanks Logos

Bradley has just mentioned there is a definite problem with the metadata for the Tyndale series over here , so it should be getting addressed soon.
-
I am wondering if this can be corrected if you remove the entire set from you computer and re-download it from Logos? I recall the set was less than 70MB. Consult with Melissa first before removing the files.
I didn't think this series could be downloaded?? http://www.logos.com/products/details/5310
-
It looks like the problem here is not a bug with loading metadata but that we missed a step in publishing this particular update. We now have better systems in place for confirming these corrections before they get moved to "addressed", so we'll avoid this kind of problem in the future. The series on this volume will
Just out of curiosity, if you happen to have that commentary set, does that volume show a series for you? Anyone else have it?
Nah I don't have that set so can't comment.

Melissa knows about my issue from this thread - http://community.logos.com/forums/t/20410.aspx?PageIndex=2 where she has already suggested the old suggestion of going into the Logos4 folder, open Data\uniquefolder.xxx\Updates and delete the Metadata.db file, then restarting Logos. But as it stands that is not working for me, nor does updating resources

For anyone that has the Tyndale Commentaries (49 volumes), for the commentary 2 Peter and Jude: An Introduction and Commentary, is it part of the Tyndale series in your library? I'm asking because for me its not.
-
You do have Use Internet = YES?
Yes
It can sometimes take longer. You might also try restarting a second time.
I tried it again today, deleted the files, then opened L4 to a blank layout before going out for a few hours. Came home and the problem still isn't solved. Tried restarting
It appears that you're metadata needs to be updated, which may fix all the problems you're seeing with the Tyndale Commentaries. Close the program and go to your Logos4 folder, open Data\uniquefolder.xxx\Updates and delete the Metadata.db file. Start Logos 4 and wait a few minutes to give it a chance to download the metadata
-
Incidentally, how are we supposed to report metadata errors? One volume of the Tyndale Commentary Series (49 volumes) has no metadata for series
The image i posted was your image, it had no orange bar in it.
Sorry. What I meant was when a resource I have open does show in my PR, I do get the line. But as Tyndale doesn't show, there was no line in the image I posted.
In zooming on Peter's image i could not find the Tyndale commentary
-
i think there is definitely a bug or something not installed properly here. Notice that in the PR's Top Commentaries drop down that it is missing your current commentary (the one that you are in when you click on PR button). The current commentary should show up with an orange vertical bar on the left next to it.
I

Perhaps a related bug - When in the Pulpit Commentary I don't even get Top Commentaries PR EDIT: It appears that when I'm not in one of my top rated commentaries, Top Commentaries never shows in PR. Top Commentaries only show when I'm already in one of my top commentaries. I'm sure this isn't normal is it? It also happens with bibles and my Common Bibles

I just got a resource CD from Logos in the mail. In it, a note says that L4 "does not use serial numbers to unlock resources. To activate your new product, please give us a call at 800-875-6467, M-F, 6am-5pm (PST).
That's great for those in the US and Canada,

When using Word Tree for larger reference ranges it would be alot quicker and easier if we could see where a particular verse occurs, preview it and jump to that reference if desired, much like in other resources. I'm studying Romans at the moment, and want to see where and how "law" is used. Word Tree is great, except I have no idea where the verses

Here you go Steve. And when in the MacArthur Study Bible on Matthew 1:1 the Tyndale Commentary on Matthew definitely does not appear in PR

rebuilt index, problem remains.
David ~ When you right click on one of the Tyndale commentaries in your Library, is "Prioritize this series" one of the options?
or you can just download them for either L3 or L4 or both. I downloaded them to L4, then my L3 CD never arrived, so I downloaded them and Logos gave me a refund on the postage for the CD that went AWOL!
I was thinking of purchasing a collection of books with the NASB study bible by MacArthur but now I'm not sure. Is there anyone out there who has this study bible and it is working fine? Is it an issue only for some computers?
I have MacArthurs NASB study bible and it works fine for me. I wouldn't be concerned about

Taylor, it would be a good idea for you to change your display name to something other than your email address for online forums
