fantastic!!!! Thank you!!!

Since I use a Chromebook for a lot of what I do, I'd love for this to be fixed. I tried it on Microsoft Edge (Windows) and it looks the same, so I guess it isn't an issue only with Chrome.

The slides in a sermon document are now tiny. This is one of the guys I would use to practice my sermon. Now I can't see the slides at all. Am I missing something?

[quote user="Andrew Batishko (Faithlife)"] [quote user="David Mullens"]I may be very confused, but did the partial download of resources go a way? I saw the message about keeping it in Beta, but seems like its gone in the version I'm using (8.3.0018). I'm assuming that is RC1? I may be very confused, but did the partial download of resources go a way? I saw the message about keeping it in Beta, but seems like its gone in the version I'm using (8.3.0018). I'm assuming that is RC1? If it did go away, is there any way I can keep on the Beta version that has it? Logos has completely filled up my drive again.... Thanks!

FWIW, I moved to Beta for this one feature because the SSD on my desktop was running out of room because of my library. I ended up downloading the recommended resources, however, there seemed to be a lot of resources I don't usually use and it left out a lot of resources I use every week. That wasn't a big deal because I then filtered out "resources

Just for clarification, my oversight was not realizing the "Windows" and "Mac" links were to installation files. The post didn't specify that those were installation files. So, instead of clicking on the link, I used the normal installation file to install and then changed my update channel to beta and then issued the update now command. I kept thinking

@David...Thanks!!! I don't know how I missed that. I had read through that thread several times. I think I thought the links were for the WIndows/Mac release notes....which doesn't make any sense when I stopped to think about it. My "recommended" library is downloading now! Thanks again!

Tried the install again after making sure all logos directories are deleted. Same thing. After it spends about 10 minutes "synchronizing" I see that it on version 8.2.0015. I then set it to update to beta channel. Now it looks like it is downloading all my resources. I never receive the option of doing a minimal library install. Is there a different

Thanks @dave. I'm giving it another shot. I just deleted the Logos directory off of drive D as well. Hopefully this time works :)
-
@Andrew, I thought I had. I uninstalled and then deleted /users/username/AppData/local/Logos directory. I didn't think to look in the programFiles directory...or the ProgramData directory thinking the uninstaller would take care of those. Getting late here...I'll check it out in the morning. Thanks!

I went ahead and let it update. It said 25gb, but I looked at my disk space after the update and there was only a gig or two less. Even now there's only about 6 gb less than what there was. I have not had the option to download a 'minimal' library or any kind of library. Currently I have 7 resources on my device. I thought it would be nice to have an

@Kolen, I use multiple computers and mobile apps. Although, there are some resources I could hide without missing them at all. I'll give that a shot. @MJ, I don't know about the Datasets. Would they end up being 25gb? I only have about 40 gigs on that drive. I assumed since I was using the regular LogosSetup.exe install file, it would attempt to download

Hi all, The only reason I'm running the beta is because I want to run Logos on my SSD which is only 128 gigs. My hope was to download a subset of my resources. I think I'm missing something. I uninstall Logos (it was running on my D drive), then install choosing the "custom" option and making sure to uncheck the download update options. I log in and

[quote user="Matt Mattox (Faithlife)"] Again, I do apologize for the experience as we have some developers who are going to be in contact. We did create a case for your instance and your previous post last week, but looks like it may have slipped the cracks on getting touched up. Looks like Jim S also added some Logos credits to your account. I'll keep

FWIW, I checked the US Amazon website and it has the paperback book at $39.95 and the hardback at $96.26 (both new) (Edit: Kindle version is $32.38). I usually assume the Academic books will be priced higher than paperback because of all the work they do tagging the text.

I'm not sure what to do at this point. I've been working with a couple of support folks since last Saturday, but our church's group is still broken. Basically, if I go to our calendar, bulletin, or newsletter areas I get an error. The support folks have been helpful, but after a week we still have the issue and I still don't know why we have it or how

I'm having the same problem.
-
Thanks. This has been very helpful. Seems like I've done all I can do, so I need to get creative with my SSD. I knew there would be issues since the SSD is small. I'll have to look at some of my other programs and perhaps move them off the SSD. I like having Logos on the SSD. Really speeds things up. Thanks again.
