I am trying to include bible book titles in the headers of my personal book - they don't need a link. There is an image before the text of the header (but included in the header). Sometimes the image is duplicated or only part of the title is "linked" to the bible chapter. I have tried including a cancel-link code ie. {{~ 1 Timothy, Jude }}, but although

Another alternative to Morris Proctor is John Fallahe. His website is www.learnlogos.com . He has a comprehensive set of training videos and 3x a month does a training webinar (watch live for free). The videos are very reasonably priced for the breadth of information you get.
My own description would be something like this: 1. "Inductive" Bible study is the process of observing the text (particular or specific data), and from these observations come to general conclusions as to what the Bible is teaching. 2. "Deductive" Bible study would be more along the lines of starting with a hypothesis, possibly

When browsing the "newest" books view, there are books that have been in Logos for years (some of which I own) that pop up in the sort order. eg. Jon Courson's Application Commentary: New Testament John MacArthur Essential Bible Study Library (25 vols.) by MacArthur, John The Preacher's Commentary Are all among the most recently added books according
What I have never understood, and I am being serious here, is why the inductive method is called "inductive" rather than "deductive".
Going from Moris Proctor's 'Inductive Guide', it clarifies the two terms. Deduction brings preconceived ideas to the facts, whereas inductive bases opinions solely on the facts. ie. impartial
I had the same problem last week. This fixed it: http://wiki.logos.com/Fonts_in_my_interlinear_are_not_displaying_properly!_(Windows_XP_only )
This worked like a charm and all characters display correctly. Thank you for your help!
-
I'm not sure if this is discussed elsewhere, but I can't find any info on it. In the interlinear display, on line 2 (MSS) I am only getting box outlines instead of arrows, or the correct character. I tried using several other fonts, but all did the same thing. Am I missing a font, is this a Windows XP issue? Also in the Webster dictionary (11th ed.

I have been a subscriber since the magazine started. I have been very impressed with each issue. Incredible interviews with top christian speakers, bible studies of various books, book reviews, etc. etc. Interesting articles too on various books of the bible. I don't want to sound like a commercial, but I do honestly eagerly await each bi-monthly issue

If you have Excel 2003 instead of 2007, it will ask you to download a conversion pack. It should take you right to the download page. Install it and then download the file again. After some conversion, you should be able to see it no problem.
