I hope this is the right place to report a bug: I really like Dark mode. Its an eye-saver. Most books make the transition just fine. One book, however, did not: Lindemann, Rob. Setting a Sustainable Trajectory: A Pedagogical Theory for Christian Worldview Formation. Eugene, Oregon: Wipf and Stock, 2018. The text is mostly black on black with a few quotes

I would definitely be interested in this product. Please make this translation available in Logos.

Thanks. It wasn't doing that at first. When I was first trying it out, it would create duplicate folders. So for example, if my first "Bible" was in a Bible folder, when editing the second shortcut for the "Bible" folder, it would create a second Bible folder. Now, however, when I type the same name "Bible" in the folder section, it goes in just fine

Yes, thank you very much for point that out. I have now purchased and installed Logos 9. I've been able to create a folder, but I can't seem to be able to add any additional works to the folder. I tried checking the "How to modify shortcuts" tutorial, but it wasn't helpful. It only showed that it can be done and how to do the first one, but not how

It would be nice to be able to make custom Dropdown tabs for the bookmark bar: 1. Bibles (Favorite on top, but other Bible versions in the list -- just Bibles) 2. Study Guides (Favorite on top, but other Bible study guides and Bible note collections in this list -- just Bible study guides) 3. Pronunciation Tools (Favorite on top, but other pronunciation

That worked great! Thanks!

I'm having trouble putting together a topical collection of my resources focused on eschatology, end times, last things, rapture, and so forth. When I'm putting a formula in, I know there are resources that aren't showing up. And when I'm working on the formula, as I type resources that once appeared are disappearing (that should be in there). So I

Thank you! That explanation was very helpful.

I recently purchased a new laptop. I was installing Logos 8 and it asked me whether to install my most commonly used resources or all the books on my account. Since I was in a hurry at the time, I chose the recommended option of installing just the most used books. Its been a week now and now I want to install all the rest of my books. Since I've been
-
Oh, okay. Thank you for the follow-up explanation. That makes sense now!
-
I appreciate the detailed explanation, but I'm not sure what this means. Are you offering up four different rules to accomplish the same purpose or are these four rules for four different types of collections? I'm a bit confused.
-
I wanted to do some supportive reading on biblical theology. I have received several books on biblical theology, (some I purchased individually and some as part of a set). I'd like to create a rule that pulls them together. However, whenever I try to gather than by title, I know some are missing. When I try to include them as a series, I get unrelated

But can't you create a "collection" (give it your own name) and add a single volume from a commentary series (from multiple commentary sets) to 'create your own' personal set? I thought I read that just a few days ago here on the forums. I haven't tried it myself yet.
-
I was wondering if the 'community' had any recommendations on which 'preferred commentary' should be listed first in one's library. Granted that's going to come down to personal preference. But I'm hoping to glean some tips and recommendations to help me make that decision. Theologically, I'm in the Protestant, Evangelical, Reformed section of Christianity

I'm still working on setting up some collections and I was wondering if anyone had some tips on setting up rules for specific types of collections: 1. Preaching/Homiletic resources that deal with just crafting sermons (how-to books). 2. Preaching/Homiletic resources that are just sermon outlines (but not "Bible outlines"). 3. Preaching/Homiletic resources

Okay. Thanks for the tip. I tried your type:bible-commentary subject:1-Kings formula and it does seem to work better at finding my resources. Thank you everyone for your tips and advice. I appreciate the assistance.
-
This is the pattern I've been using to set up my commentary selections by books of the Bible: OT Commentaries on the Book of First Kings type:commentary AND (title:kings OR subject:kings) ANDNOT ((subject:”2nd” OR title:”2 Kings”) ANDNOT (subject:”1st” OR title:”1 Kings”)) Am I not doing it right?
-
I see where you are going with this... by using 'series' and then that name, the collection finds them all. THANKS! That was really helpful!
-
Looking at one series, yes, it does have a series name.

I was wondering if anyone had advice on how to set up a collection of a commentary set that isn't necessarily labelled as a set. For example, I have a few commentary sets and some begin with a title like 'XYZ Commentary: I Kings' and those are easy to group by using 'title'. But then I have a few others that are just 'I Kings' and later in the description
