If I have performance improvement lasting longer than 4 hours am I supposed to see a doctor?

  • Re: BUG: Alignment issue on dual screen setup

I have the same problem, and I'm only using only my laptop screen. It's really annoying. **edit** I searched my old post about this (which I forgot about, until now) - click here . The final reply might prove to be helpful. **edit - again** A couple weeks ago I changed my display settings to improve performance, which removed the Aero features (Win7

  • Re: Is your L4 centered?

Tim, I had the same problem and posted about it here . The last response in that thread has an explanation of why this happens. In the end, I had to go through all of my layouts and reset them, and then re-save them. Mike

  • Re: Possible Bug: Maximized Window Position Problem... anyone else having this?
That has happened to me a few times before, but it happens in other apps too, and it seems to have something to do with my display settings. I haven't figured out a consistent way of reproducing the problem. The other day I accidentally knocked the video cable out of my monitor and then plugged it back in again. After that

  • Possible Bug: Maximized Window Position Problem... anyone else having this?

If I close Logos while it's maximized, or save a layout with Logos maximized, it's supposed to open the same way. A recent problem I'm having is that it now opens "maximized" but the position of the window is slightly off. In the photo below, you'll notice that the program window is approximately 1mm away from the top edge and 1 mm away from left edge

  • Re: BUG: Reading Plan falling behind

Okay, I had to laugh when I first read the title of this thread ("Bug: Reading Plan Falling Behind"). I laughed because my reading plan keeps falling behind, too. Except, I think my problem has less to do with the software and more to do with the user. I know that doesn't help resolve your issue, Thomas, but I wanted you to know that you lightened up

  • Re: The Digital Pulpit
wow.. Long gone is the vision of the preacher with Bible in hand standing in front of the lecturn preaching. And we wonder why the church is failing.
Really, Matthew? Peter wasn't clutching a leather-bound Bible and standing in front of a lecturn while he preached at Pentecost - right before 3,000 or so were added

I'm pretty sure that I'm going to pre-order this DVD series ( The I-Beam of Message Building ). I'm just wondering if anyone happens to know how close it is to being released? Thanks

  • Re: Keyboard Shortcut to "turn the page"

I know what NOT to do. Don't use the left/right arrow keys on your keyboard - they toggle through your resources. I learned that yesterday.

  • help with search parameters

I want to find Logos resources that deal with Jesus' seven "I Am" statements in John's gospel. How might I go about searching this? Thanks!

  • Help: I'm getting "an error occurred during synchronization"

Is anyone else getting the message "an error occurred during synchronization" this morning? What does this mean (other than there's an error)? Can I do anything about it, or is it on Logos' end? Thanks
Pardon my ignorance, but how do you scroll with a touch pad, what combination of things do you do? Trying to see if mine works or not...thanks!
Dominick, you can scroll through webpages, documents, etc. by pressing and running your finger along the right edge of the touchpad (top to bottom). Try it first on a webpage

  • FYI - Laptop Scrolling is NOW Working (for me, at least)

Like many on the forum, I haven't been able to use my laptop's touchpad for scrolling in Logos 4. I just updated the driver and now it's working beautifully. I have a Dell Studio XPS with Windows 7 64-bit, so I went to Dell's "drivers and downloads" site (where you go will depend on your laptop manufacturer, etc. - obviously). The updated driver info

  • Re: Was curious if this was for the wealthy Christians :(

Blake, welcome to the forum. I assure you, Logos isn't for wealthy Christians. I bought Scholars Library in '04 (or maybe '05) as a full-time student who worked part-time while supporting a family (somehow, by the grace of God). I bought Scholars Library for 50% off as part of a student discount. My suggestion: Speak with someone in sales and ask them
