Don't forget to use my resource, The New Treasury of Scripture Knowledge or its much expanded sequel to find more leads to such topics as Posture in Prayer by checking its special indexes: Prayer, posture during (1) kneeling, +Dan 6:10 (T1259). Psa 95:6. (2) sitting, Jdg 20:26 note, congregation seated. 1Ch 17:16, individual seated. (3) standing, Mar

It would be wonderful if Faithlife/Logos would adopt a more uniform standard of designating the nature of each resource: State explicitly not just "Format: Logos Resource" but either "Logos Research Edition" or "Logos Reader Edition." State explicitly the number of pages in the book: if unpaginated in the digital edition give pages in the print edition

As far as I just looked today, the pictures are excellent.

At my advanced age some of these technical details are above my pay grade.
I don't buy this. My Dad was a retired cattle rancher turned county computer nerd - providing support for the county assessor's office and for the elementary school. He retired from going into the elementary school each

List or no list, my suggestion for an important improvement to bring to Logos 10 or sooner would be to allow the Scripture text box which displays the referenced Bible verses upon mouse-over to resize to include the whole referenced passage to display. So often in my reading of a resource aloud to my wife I can read only the first two or three verses

I have both in my print library. Both are very helpful resources. Blass, etc. is most useful. It covers some things I did not find in Robertson. I used them both when preparing my book, The New Treasury of Scripture Knowledge, a resource also available in Logos.

There is some information in Milton S. Terry, Biblical Hermeneutics , on pages 163, 611, and 630. Part 3 of his book is about The History of Interpretation.

I have several of Paul Maier's books in my print library. I invited him to speak at a conference of the Michigan Christian Teacher's Fellowship, which he did. He graciously autographed his book to me as a "fellow Christian scholar." I agree with Mattillo, we need this book in Logos!

In reference to preserving wine, the Logos resource Bible Wines gives a thorough discussion of how it was done.

If you own the Logos resource titled The New Treasury of Scripture Knowledge, that is where I suggest you begin your study. Then carefully study the cross references I assembled for Romans 15:7 based upon my many years of experience and careful study. Doing such a Bible study as this could and should revolutionize your Christian life and ministry permanently

I have been "in" for the 19-volume set since October 2014. I have several of these volumes in my print library. They are excellent. Some of them I purchased from a Mennonite bulk food store some distance north of where I live.

The numbers 1-20 relate to the printing (first printing, second printing, etc.). The other numbers refer to the year of printing or publication. My book, The New Treasury of Scripture Knowledge, has the numbers 1-9 and 97-92. Since I am looking at its first edition with the lavender dust cover, the set of numbers indicate my printed copy at hand is

This is indeed a most important subject! Thank you for bringing special attention to this resource. I would have totally missed it! I have now pre=ordered it and hope others will do likewise. I have been studying this subject most carefully. I have added much material on this topic in my greatly expanded edition of my New Treasury of Scripture Knowledge

The feature I use most is "Layouts." I use them to keep track of the books I am reading. I also have preserved in "Layouts" special kinds of searches, especially reciprocal cross reference searches in my book, The New Treasury of Scripture Knowledge .

It is a long read, but in my estimation, one of the best classic studies is the three volume set by George N. H. Peters, The Theocratic Kingdom. Logos has it available in both the three volume and a single volume (digital file which includes the three volumes). I have and use both. I recommend the 3 volume edition for accuracy. I use the single-file

I have had an interest in apologetics for many years. I have placed notes on the subject in my book, The New Treasury of Scripture Knowledge , at 2 Peter 1:16 and elsewhere throughout the volume, which most of you know is a Logos resource. I have a printed book that is not in Logos or anywhere else that I know of that has been a wonderful resource.

I suspect the current publisher desires to keep my newest work (2016) an exclusive offering for a while yet. But if there were sufficient requests, perhaps that would prompt a release to other platforms like Logos.

Thank you to everyone for calling attention to my book, The New Treasury of Scripture Knowledge

Thank you to everyone for calling attention to my book, The New Treasury of Scripture Knowledge. It is currently offered at a very good price during this Nelson Sale. If you do not have it, be sure to get this Bible study tool. It is far more complete than the original nineteenth century Treasury of Scripture Knowledge.

My copy was published by Kregel in 1978. It is a reprint of the second edition. Large page size, hard bound. I refer to it in my book, The New Treasury of Scripture Knowledge, a resource available in Logos.

I have owned and used the print version for many years and highly recommend this resource

I have owned and used the print version for many years and highly recommend this resource. I, too, have had my bid in for this for quite some time.
