And I'd second the request - once again - for them both.

Smart Tags were wonderfully useful. Surely in the great Logos scheme of things an up-to-date implementation of them wouldn't be a crushing burden to the programmers?

Here's a curious thing that appeared in the Bible Word Study of the Greek cheir, 'hand'. Notice the missing initial letters in various places. A bug?
-
Mmm - that's what I feared. Maybe Logos will introduce the option further down the road. Thanks anyway.
-
Todd, you're a gem. That worked perfectly. Thanks a lot. The other tweak is, of course, more difficult, and I don't hold out much hope on that one. But we'll see...

Is there a way to force Logos4 to always use just the abbreviated names of resources in tabs? I prefer NLT, for example, to New Living Translation, etc.

I've produced my own 'style' for copying Bible verses, as the screenshot shows. I have two further tweaks I'd like to make and wonder if you know how to make them. They are: (1) I'd like a couple of spaces between the end of the Bible reference (in bold italic) and what follows. (2) If possible I'd like to omit the superscript verse number - but just

Sorry, Michael, but I can't remember, and I no longer have Logos 3 on my computer to be able to have a go and give you the steps. I do know that, once I had created the reading plan in Logos, there was some facility that enabled me to export it as a text file. That way, I just imported the text file into my DTP program (Serif PagePlus), where I could

Looks as if we've lost this facility in Logos 4. A pity - for several years I have created a one-year Bible reading plan in Logos 3 and have been able to export it as text and get it arranged in my DTP program to print out for the benefit of folk in our local church. I was planning to do a plan for 2010 today but, alas, it apparently can't be done.

Many thanks, Richard. Such a small arrow, such a big difference...!

I'm wanting to do a Basic Search on 'spiritualism'. When I enter the term I get hundreds of hits, mostly 'spiritual', 'spiritual' or 'spirituality'. How do I limit it to the exact term I want?
-
Yes, I have been natterng Logos for some years to get more variety in the French Bibles available. It's not good enough to be stuck with just Louis Segond - the equivalent of the KJV in English. I'd like, for instance, the Bible Du Semeur. Allez, Logos!

I don't think the good old NIV comes in reverse interlinear form. At least not yet. I live in hope.
-
According to my pre-pub page it goes live on 10th September.

When you save the PPT presentation, click the Tools button at the bottom of the Save dialog and choose to embed the fonts used in the presentation. That way, you can show the presentation on any computer and the fonts will show as you originally used them.
-
Yes, and while we're at it, what about a 'Files' section where people can post useful files for fellow-users?
-
Many thanks, Dudley. The deed is done, and all is well. Your help much appreciated!

I recently bought the Geisler Apologetic Library CD. It came without a Serial Number, but Logos solved the problem by fixing the license at their end and sending it to me in a license update script. All is now working fine - except that, every time I start Logos, a warning pops up: 'You must enter a serial number to activate...and unlock the resources
