What I wish for is a Logos manual that works like a Logos book, with links to the functions, including videos. Something similar to windows. This can be included in all base packages, and updated when the software is updated.
You could make your own manual with links to the different Logos videos and web articles

What is the point? It looks like a scaled down version of the iPad app.

Well, after doing a little more digging I found this: See this link for the complete listing. http://www.nelsonministryservices.com/nms/dept.asp?dept%5fid=5070
-
I just checked and the 54 volume doesn't contain 18A.
-
OK, So this is what I found. I don't use L4 but checked it and I have 18A in both L3 and L4. This first scan is from the back of my 59 vol Next I looke daround online and found these: So as you can see there was a 54 volume, 6 volume upgrade, 58 volume, and a 59 volume. I don't think the 54 or 58 volume contained the 18A but I could be wrong. If I come

OK, after downloading the OpenText and Lexhan resources from the ftp site and replacing the old files on my computer the EG once again shows them. There must have been something wrong with the old files.
-
Thanks for the thoughts but I still get nothing. I wonder if this is a problem with the files or the program? I have the data bases and can open them up no problem just doesn't work in the EG.
-
I an unable to get the exegetical guide to list any Visualizations for the New Testament. They show up for the Old Testament. Any ideas?
-
I am going through one of the Handbooks myself and came accross this refrence. Let's get this in Logos please.
-
I buy the Logos if possible and convert to kindle that way I have access to the refrences and all the popup footnotes, searching, ect but I am also able to take it to the deck and read it in the sun.
-
I have tried L4 on 1 desktop and two laptops and L4 runs slow on all of them. I just purchased a new computer and ran L4 on it in hopes it would work faster but it doesn't. The plain fact is that, at least for me, no matter what kind of computer I use it still runs slow. Slow: start up, clicking on anything takes a few seconds to open, doing searches

I think this may be moving off topic and if we are not carful we will end up in a debate over Christian churches and churches of Christ theology. Time for me to leave this alone
-
In Response to the original question: I like the set. I only have the New Testament and maybe one of the Old but very good. Conservative and easy to read in my opinion. I would say they are not devotional but also not technical. I would place them in the middle. I typically use them alongside the WBC, NIGTC, and the EBC. Hope that helps

I ordered the manual but was taken aback by the shipping as well. I think PDF or some kind of read only CD that could be shipped at a lower cost would be a good idea. I like the paper manuals but we live in a world of LOGOS, eBooks, kindle, nook, ect. Seems silly not to to have a downloadable version. HEY make a Kindle version for download. Make a version
