I haven't opened L3 in months, since all of my old books have been updated. It takes a while to learn the features... There are many ways to discover new features, and L4 has many new smart features that are clearly worthwhile. Well worth the upgrade!

This is a "must see" if you use highlighters and filters!!!!

Yes, Serial Resource Associations are what I am looking for. Bummer, means another open resource for most of my studies.

How do I link an OT Interlinear with a NT Interlinear so that when linked to an English Bible it will switch seamlessly between Old and New Testaments? I know this was possible in ver. 3. Sorry if this question has been answered numerous times!

I got a new laptop and was having trouble with indexing. I was installing from DVD and while indexing the drive would run frequently for long periods and finally crash. I was about to give up after a whole day of trying. The next day I tried stopping Logos and ejectind the DVD. Indexing then continued normally. My advice if you hear constant access
Try the right-left buttons. I used a mobile 5 for a while before I went blackberry and as I recall that is how to do it (could be wrong though)
Great thought, but it didn't work. 8-)

I have a windows mobil 5 phone without touch screen. In Library i cannot select a book. I can see all my books but am unable to sellect. Scrolling does not highlight a book just moves down the list. Thanks again for this great app. the bible alone is helpful.

I've been a Windows user from the very start (1981). Every program except Logos 4 has a save command or an "are you sure" prompt! This goes for Layouts too!!!!!

Phillip: How did you get the Greek text after lemma: ???
-
Create a visual filter. This is not under tools where you might expect but under files because you are creating a file for markup. Go to a Greek text with doulos in it (Ex. Rom. 1:1) and copy that word. Then in the visual markup tab paste it into the first box and choose a highlight from the list in the second box. Be sure to edit the name of the filter

Amen! However one click on a verse also does several other things depending on the context. Sometimes you just have to trade off. Oh well!

For a quick search for a word or phrase Just Press Ctrl - F and a find box appears. Type a word then press ˆ or ˇ symbols (up or down)
-
I used 'find' (Cntrl-F) a lot in L3, since it's a quick way to jump to the next use of a word and not have to load in the search-baggage. L4 also has it, but it won't seem to 're-set' to where I am. So for example if I'm in 1st John and do a find, then bounce back to Genesis, the 'find' still begins in 1st John. [/quote

Is there a way to select and move multiple resources to hide them. For example a particular author you would like to hide?
Second, assuming the first is yes, when you have the commentary open, is it open to a passage or just the title page or TOC? It has to be open to a passage and that commentary and the "next" have to be indexed by Bible and have "coverage" of that passage. Chris
Thanks for the help. The commentary I had priortized
-
I am having trouble moving from resource to resource using the arrow keys. I have prioritized 5 resources by type as suggested but with a commentary open the right arrow seems random. It works with bibles but not commentaries. What am I missing here?

You can "float" the HELP panel, just click on the triangle by HELP and choose float this panel. Now it's resizable!

I am getting different results with the search command "near" in v3 and v4. V4 does not give expected results searching "all passages" in "all bibles". I was looking for Luke 11:1 and entered bible search "teach near pray" Got 0 results. In v3 immediatelly found Lk 11:1. What's Up??
