Thanks, Fred. Unfortunately, I couldn't pick up any suggestions there. Bill

I would like some suggestions for forming a COLLECTION for my resources involving REFORMED THEOLOGY. Thanks.
-
Thanks, Dave. I hadn't thought of working with LES to get the division.

Is there a way of searching just the non-canonical books in the Septuagint?
-
I found that a better search format is a BIBLE SEARCH with συν* NOTEQUALS σὺν OR συμ* . By my own count I got 143 Lemmas.
-
I recently did a Morphological Search for every word in the New Testament that had a prefix of συν - or various similar forms. [These are the various "CO" words like συμπάσχω = co-suffer in Romans 8:17 .] I used the MORPH SEARCH lemma:συν* OR lemma:συμ* OR lemma:συγ* . The search worked well (583 results). However, when I looked at ANALYSIS, there were

Yes. Thanks, Andrew.

Thanks, Kevin. I used συν* ANDNOT συν and ti seemed to work. But maybe there is another way to do it. Bill

How would I best find all words in the book of Colossians which have a prefix σύν (sun) in the Greek [such as σύνδουλος = fellow-servant in Col 1:7]?

Thank you all for some excellent suggestions! Bill

Any suggestions for how to search in the Hebrew text for the compound names of God [such as יְהוָ֣ה׀ יִרְאֶ֑ה YAHWEH Yireh in Gen 22:14 or אֵ֣ל שַׁדַּ֔י El Shaddai in Gen 17:1]?

Thanks, Dave.

I really like the LTW as a Lexicon - so that's why I'm hoping they can correct this problem.
-
Mike, I usually double-click on the Hebrew or Greek word and it will bring me to my highest prioritized lexicon. [But this can also be done by right clicking on the Hebrew or Greek or English word and then choosing Lemma and then Look Up.] Bill

Yes, Graham. For example, in Gen 1:1, created works correctly - but heavens does not [though heavens appears in the LTW]. In Matt 1:1, βίβλος = book is in the LTW but does not appear when I work with that word. [The next highest prioritized lexicon appears in both of these cases.] I hope I have expressed this clearly.

I have prioritized the Lexham Theological Wordbook as my highest prioritized lexicon [for both Old Testament and New Testament]. But, for some reason, it many times fails to come up first [or even come up at all] Any thoughts about this. [I have attached my Old Testament prioritization.] .
-
Thank you very much. It worked!

Does anyone have any thoughts as to how one could search for repeated lemmas [such as מ֥וֹת תָּמֽוּת MUT MUT in Gen 2:17 or שָׁמ֤וֹעַ תִּשְׁמְעוּ֙ SHEMA SHEMA in Exodus 19:5] in the Old Testament?
-
Thanks, Dave.

I found a slightly more exact search parameter is a MORPH search for lemma:συ* OR lemma:σύμ* .
