• Re: Web Page Items and Full Screen Video

Sorry for the confusion. We were using YouTube & Animoto.com videos which would not play when loaded as 'video files' or as a web page. We have since switched to converting videos to mp4 or wmv due to the problem of Proclaim not being able to play the YouTube or other web based video files. But this was a while ago now and it seems that some updates

We can get full screen web pages but not full screen video from web pages. Such as Animato.com videos.

After all of these years this is still a problem? Really? What is taking so long to fix this basic issue that has been in these forums since the inception of Logos? Why is this such a problem for Proclaim? None of the other major presentation programs seem to have this problem.

Yes, Surface Pro 3 looks pretty good with a new larger size and lots of additional processing options up to i7. And of course the cost to go with it. Check it out here: ( http://surface.microsoftstore.com/store/msusa/en_US/html/pbPage.ProductDetails/Surface-Pro-3/productID.300190600?WT.mc_id=PromoEmail_NDA_PreOrder1_5-20-14_Body_Body )

I definitely plan on getting either this device or the Nokia Lumina 1520. Both are awesome phones. I know two ip.. users that have jumped ship to W8 devices and have shared their glee with these new devices. Once my contract is up I to will be joining the Nokia/Windows Phone family. There's no need to worry about an internal memory card on the Icon

What Logos fails to realize is that RT is the new windows platform. This transition has been going on since XP migrated to Vista. I believe that is why Vista had the type of problems that it did. It was the beginning of the shift. Now it's obvious that 7 is the updated Vista with the bugs worked out and now 8 is the new RT based interface that holds

I also ended up taking the hit on the 512 because all of the 256's were 'sold out'. Yikes! I had no intention of spending that extra $500. So I really wrestled with what to do. My original plan was to just buy the 256 get a 64g SD card and an external HD because my Laptop only had 350g and I was always carrying around the 'Bag Of Stuff' which included

I seldom disagree with my good friend from Bama, but to say "Windows 8 has been an utter failure up to this point" is a silly statement, and a false one. Windows 8 is a great success, and will continue to be so. I wouldn't swap my Windows 8 Surface Pro 2 for any machine Apple ever made. [/quote

I have used a similar device but not this particular one. I have had no problems or issues using Logos or the other devices with a USB 2.0 or 3.0 protocol.

Yes, that may be true but Logos is not marketing merely to seminarians but to all Bible students. Investing in the Mac platform was a good idea. Mac users spend more because all Apple products cost much more. But that's not even the issue here. The question is if Windows 8 is a worthwhile platform to invest in. It is not an "utter failure" as you say

Thanks for this mini review on these apps. I plan to give them a try. I'm always being asked for recommendations. I also purchased a Surface Pro 2 tablet and it is awesome. Since it's a 'crossover' computer it works well in both Windows 8 modes. Windows 7 mode & Windows Phone 8/Tablet mode. It's fantastic! You might want to give one a look.

Wow, sorry but I disagree with Bob. And that's said news to Windows 8 users because he is the President of Logos. I do believe Windows Phone is here to stay! At least as long as the iPhone will be around. As usual Microsoft is late getting up to speed but they are getting there. Try searching "Failed Apple Products" and you find no shortage of items

Yes, I agree and also wanted to post similar info. I would also add that Microsoft is actually ahead of its time on this concept and once these transitions are more widely accepted we will see thus really take off and other companies like Apple will begin to follow Microsoft lead. I think there's more to this story in regards to Logos and the "Market

Everyone who is speaking out against this major disappointment is correct. This is not the only thread addressing this issue. There are several out there. Actually, what Microsoft has done is genius! Not Stupid! This is yet another clear picture of the bias against Microsoft and Logos clear favor towards Apple. Had apple come up with an operating system

Yes Joe, I agree. I don't think it's that much of a difference to cast off the whole idea. Making the necessary tweaks to bridge the gap certainly is worth it considering the overall benefit of having the ability to give all Windows 8 users access to Logos software with just a reasonable amount of tweaking. The benefit would be huge to Phone & RT users

Hi guys, does anyone know what's going on with this issue? This post is almost a year old and I sure hope we're not still hearing the same ole things. Our church is Windows based and we run Windows 8.1 on all of our systems. We are also in the process of moving to Surface Tablets and other Windows 8 based technology. This includes Nokia phones and Samsung

Absolutely, this is great news. I do agree that the Proclaim folks seem to have strange priorities when it comes to getting the important aspects of the program working or even in place at all. Things that are pretty much standard in the leading presentation programs on the market seem to be missing or not working efficiently in proclaim. I have found

We also need this feature enabled. It is a real hindrance and very unprofessional to have to drop the slide to show the desktop while editing and then re enable the on air feature. The edit feature is helpful but often the problem requires the Customizing features. Especially if you need to change the background, fonts, font color, add a shadow, etc

Hi Scott, Thanks for the super quick reply. I have tried both of these things in both areas but for some reason in the "My Content" area every time you right-click and delete the screen refreshes and sends you all the way back to the top of the list so you then have to scroll allllllll the way down to where you were only to find that the item is STILL

  • Cleaning Up or Deleting Excess Background Images

Hi folks, We have accumulated quite a few slides that are in our library that we no longer use for various reasons. Such as the date of the event has now past and the slide information is out of date. How do we either download the slides so we don't have to continue to search through a long huge list of slides we will NEVER USE AGAIN or that may not
