• Re: Need e-reader recommendation for Logos

Also enjoying my Poke 2. I found it helps to turn off things like swipe to highlight and the automatic word lookup features, but otherwise I’m pretty happy with it for reading purposes. I installed Nova Launcher from the play store and use that as my home screen. Since I really just use Logos and Kindle on there it cleans up the interface a lot

I believe you can find a handful of vendors who sell the Poke2 on eBay. I ordered mine directly from the Onyx store but still waiting for DHL to ship it. I believe delays are due to COVID shipping priorities taking precedence, but definitely a delay. Other Onyx products can be purchased on their Amazon store. I tried the Nova Pro. Loved it but I don
If I am not mistaken, you can actually have more than one copy of a given work open on an iPad when working in Logos. So let's say you are reading a commentary on something about Genesis 1, you can open it again and look up something about Genesis 6. Your place in chapter 1 is still preserved when you switch back to it. You don't

I agree, but am also finding the Onyx Boox devices to be great e-reading devices. I've tried the Nova2 and awaiting my Poke2. Kindle works great on them, as does Logos/Faithlife for reading... other than these challenges I mention.

  • Guidance for Effective Cross-Device Reading of Logos and Vyrso Books

I am currently spending more time intentionally engaging in reading several of my resources from cover to cover. I've used Logos since 2006, so I've seen a lot of changes along the way and lots of improvements. As I've used it, and built my library, it's becoming increasingly important for me to also be able to have the ability to read books cover:cover

  • Re: Display Page Number in Reference Field

Correct - it is a Logos book, but I'm reading in Faithlife to try to find a reasonable way to read books cover:cover from my Logos library and was hoping some things like syncing to last page read, and reading with page numbers might be easier in the ebook app.

All I seem to be able to do is click on the menu and open the navigation/go to options. When I clock on the actual reference I can just type in something different. What am I missing?

  • Display Page Number in Reference Field

Is there a way to set the reference field in the upper left hand corner to display the page number instead of the scripture reference? I’m reading a commentary and for note taking (and reference purposes) I want to be able to view what page I’m on rather than what reference section I’m in.
Your Understanding of notes is incorrect. If you are having issues with notes on the mobile app, make sure to create a thread in the mobile forum. If the issue is simply with FLEB titles, the L8 forum would be fine as well.
Thanks for this! I actually think I had to wait way longer for all my notes to sync. So

I'm sure this is way harder than it sounds... but what about an option that would be "Open books to:" [last location on this device] [last location across devices] JT - that would work to keep resources on your desktop where you left them with the "on this device" option. For reading purposes it would be great to use the "across devices" option. Also
Here is one reason: Logos isn’t a simple reader program. It is a digital research library. How should the mobile app know which location to turn the Bible to if the user is currently working on four sermons, three small group lessons, a wedding, and a funeral?
I agree, it's not simply a reader program. It

Yes.. that would be great! I prefer to buy books in Logos because I already have an extensive library. I am often tempted to buy the Kindle version though for just this reason. Even if it was in the Faithlife e-book reader app only that would be a step forward. I'm happy to use a second app for reading vs studying if it would handle a feature like this

  • Last Read Location Across Devices

I'm sure this has been asked before. I searched but probably just not using the right tools. I primarily use Logos as a very extensive library and do a lot of reading in it. I use my computer, iPad and now have a new eink device too :) What I'm trying to figure out though is if there is a feature that will notify me where my last location was on another

Thank you Kyle. Just curious... I was one who bought this resource primarily for those reasons. Are there any plans to refund pre-publication orders and re-process them in the future? I know I can get a refund, but published price is not the same as pre-pub pricing for whenever I'd re-order it.

I'm wondering if someone from Logos can respond to this. The product page and the product itself both indicate it includes margin questions but they don't appear to be in the actual product.

Has anyone else ordered and received this product? I was trying to use it for study time today and I can't find the chapter questions anywhere. For example, here is the starting page of Genesis 1 (used in all of the sample materials.) It says there are study guides in there but I cannot find them anywhere!

I was able to find two pages that aligned in the Logos preview and Amazon's preview of the paperback version on a section that does not just include chapter questions. This is looking at Genesis 31. The paperback version has a question in the margin on verse 17-21 but I don't see this anywhere in the Logos preview. I wonder if we can get anyone from

I reached out to Boox to find out if they could confirm that Logos works on their devices. They provided the following demo videos of the app. It appears to have the type of lag one would expect with an e-reader but otherwise seems function. This was with the Boox Max 3 and they said it "should" work on the Pro. Video of Scrolling/Library Video of Highlight

I've wanted an e-ink device to use Logos on for years, so am very interested in following this. The Boox Note2 is 10.3" and running Android 9 but is $550. The Boox Nova Pro 7.8 is $320 and says it will be upgraded to Android 9 soon. Lot's of comments on it here: https://community.logos.com/forums/t/168597.aspx?PageIndex=7 If I had $500 waiting to be

I have a few custom highlights I use for doing some research and am wondering if there's an easier way to approach what I'm doing in Logos. For example, I have a custom highlight called "Trinity - Community" and another called "Trinity - Leadership" which I use to highlight scripture that fits within these specific themes. What I want to do then is
