I'm curious, is anyone else experiencing this issue or am I alone? For those who have highlighting appearing in "normal" display mode are you on ICS or Honeycomb? Just wondering what the issue is. I've uninstalled Bible app and reinstalled and still have the same issue so wonder what the common issue is since others seem to have highlights in "normal

Sorry for the tripple posts, I can only attach one file at a time on my tablet. I have also noticed that in low light mode sometimes the notes do not appear even though the page seemingly has completed loading, however I wonder if that is simply a delay in the notes loading in the background.

I know this has been mentioned before but also know it is not listed as a known issue and has not been fixed in the latest build. Device Asus Transformer/Motorola Photon, both on Android 4.0 Logos verson 2.0.5 Open resource, view section with markups in low light and then in normal mode. On both my Transformer and Photon markups and notes appear in

I'd like to suggest considering easier access to reading plans and devotionals. It would be really nice if they could be in the "slide out" side panel that you can open on the tablet version so that you can easily switch to the next part of your devotional or another reading plan without returning to the home screen.
Known issues Notes and Highlights cannot be edited (yet) Page turning is very slow for users who have many notes/highlights Copy/share of selection includes footnote indicators Spanish locale contains some English strings
I must have "many" notes/highlights. Page turning for me is about 2 minutes per page

Highlights and notes appear now in translations where they did not appear, but should have, before so that issue seems resolved. Highlights still only appear in low light reading mode. In standard color scheme highlights do not appear.

For what it's worth here is a logcat file. Opened Bible, viewed 1 Timothy 4 in NLT, then NRSV then ESV. 1200.alogcat.2012-07-23-10-05-38-0500.txt

I've noted this issue in a previous B1 thread but since others are reporting similar issues I thought it would be helpful to have one thread for notes/highlights issues. I have found that my notes appear only in my NLT version but not in ESV and NRSV, although the notes display in all versions on L4 desktop. (See attached screenshots.) It initially

I'm guessing resource priority sync is probably part of the planned features for 2.0 but wanted to mention just to be sure. I'd like to see a sort order in the Library list to be "Recently Used" or "Last Used" so that my frequently used resources on my mobile app would always show up at the top of the library list when using this sort order. When reading

Loading Notes/HIghlights no longer causes FC or return to home, however notes/highlights do not display. Updated log and more details are in original post.

Gabe, On 2.0 Beta two I can now load the text and the app no longer force closes or returns to home, however highlighting and notes do not appear for me. I've navigated to the right text, with the right translation that has higlights/notes in L4, however none appear in the app. I have also verified that "show notes" is enabled in settings. Attached

Disabling notes does not help. All my notes are in NRSV so on my tablet if I open NLT it works fine so I'm guessing it's related to loading of notes/highlights. On the phone app I cannot even get into settings quickly enough since Bible (Logos) goes to last read place/book and tries to open the same spot. One UI Suggestion - It would be nice to have

I originally posted this in the release thread but it looks like the convention is to post issues into their own threads. Description: Whenever I attempt to view a Bible section where I know I have highlights and notes the Bible text appears and then continues to load for a while (text from Bible displays and loading icon continues) but eventually kicks

Whenever I attempt to view a Bible section where I know I have highlights and notes the Bible text appears and then continues to load for a while but eventually kicks the Bible app back to the homepage. Attached are two logcat files. The earlier of the two is directly after app install/upgrade. After the first attempt I cleared data and cache and tried

Downloading now to test it. Can't wait to test out and view highlights and notes.

incredible! I am excited to try it and now I can avoid buying an iPad. Kept wanting one kust for Logos notes and highlighting. Now I can happily stick with Android.

@Richard - I know you said this was workflow suggestions, which is why I left this out. I do think that Logos has to figure out the balance of all of these things. Personally I'd give up everything on this list and some of the current functionality to get Highlighting/Notes working since those are critical for me in my study workflow. If you are talking

Anxiously awaiting the next beta hoping this is true!
Notes and highlighting will be coming soon after the 1.0 release. Many of the prerequisites are now in place including sync support (ex/ Favorites and Reading plans) and the ability to markup text (ex/ Reading plan markers). Was this supposed to have highlights/notes or the ability to view existing note files? I would certainly be excited if it did but since it's not listed in the features/known issues list I don't see any reason to think those features should have been here other than desperate wishful thinking. (Which I admit to having too!)
