• "Start up where you left off" is not working

On start-up I want L4 to open all the resources I had loaded when I last exited. Reading forum threads on this, it sounds like this should be the default behavior. Instead, for me, on each start-up nothing is loaded. I know I can get there after start-up by clicking on Layouts and selecting the most recent snapshot, but would like for this to happen

  • Re: "Go to next highlight" missing in L4?

Thanks to all of you for your quick and most informative responses. I discovered this forum only recently and have been amazed at the quality of the resource it is, due to the involvement and knowledge level of so many of you. I've visited the user forums of many (non-religious) software products and none compare to this one.
this is in the current beta
Does the current beta also have the ability to import your L3 markups? I've been waiting for that one ever since upgrading to L4.

Glad you called that to my attention. I looked only at Pulpit Comm. and Hodge (since I knew they were old), then jumped to conclusions.

I'm referring to the title row, which contains the field names such as: "Rank", "Title", "Author", ... Right-clicking allows you to select which fields to display.

That's great to hear. Can any current L4 owner download and install the beta software, or do you have to apply?

  • Publication date: Good news bad news

I recently was pleased to discover that on the L4 Library screen you can right-click the header row and select, among other things, Publication Date for display. This should be great to see when a library search term yields a number of books in your library. Quickly knowing which books were published in, say, 1880, 1950, or 2008 is good information

  • "Go to next highlight" missing in L4?

In L3 I constantly used the feature of pressing Alt-Down or Alt-Up to go to the next or previous markup in a book. Looks like this is not in L4. Is that right, and if so are there plans to add it?

  • Re: 4.0a RC 2 Release Notes

I'm new to this, having recently upgraded to L4. For someone who is not involved in beta testing, is it advisable to install beta's like this, or to wait until they release something which the automatic upgrader installs for you?

  • Re: SUGG: "Update Current Layout" feature.

I had been wanting the same thing. When making changes to a document in Word, all I have to do is press Ctrl-S to save it. When making a modification to an existing layout, I'd like to be able to press Ctrl-S (or something) and save it to the current layout name.
Try logging out and logging back in. Try clearing your browser's cookies and cache.
Thanks for that quick response. You got me thinking on the right track and I'm now $24.95 poorer. I normally use Firefox (under Vista). I did a log out/log in, and cleared cache and history (but not cookies) in Firefox and the problem

  • Unable to make a book purchase. Need help before midnight.

I just tried to purchase the Day 4 book on the 12 Days of Logos Christmas Special. I clicked the "Add to Cart" button and it took me to the Logos checkout screen, where I was properly logged in. But it shows my shopping cart as empty and I can't figure out how to get the book into the cart. I also tried to initiate a purchase of the book through normal
