I have never run across this in the past, and it causes me to be disappointed. This resource is for the adult, and there is no "pictures" or even any real, special formatting. it could easily have been made text and not lose any of the context or content. at all. at.all. I have, thus far only run into a variation of this with a book that had some Hebrew
I don't have this resource, but for clarification: Are the "images" like photographs of the print page? (So they do have "text," just are not in a text format?)
correct. an image of the printed page. the text is there, but not searchable in any way, as it is a picture of the page.

Florea, Jesse. Defend Your Faith: 100 Devotions for Kids with Questions. Nashville, TN: B&H Kids, 2020. LLS:9781087722207 2020-10-13T16:09:20Z 9781087722207.logos4 It is Digital Format, not readers version (if that matters). There is no text at all. it is merely page after page of images of pages from the book.

I really like the Faithlife streaming option, but we are a very small church and would only stream 4 or 5 times a month. the smallest option is way too much cost to justify streaming so that 3 or 4 people can view services. We are already doing the slides/audio-recording and posting to faithlife after the service. we are currently also using a MEVO

I have been a longtime user of Logos (since version 1.1, I believe). I have used the read-aloud feature in recent years with little and no troubles (I have third party voices). However with L9, I also switched my "speaker" set up since I am using L9 in class a lot, and haven't done that before. What I am saying is that this may have done this before
Good suggestions. Make sure you include them at https://feedback.faithlife.com
as soon as they fix that site. :) have a great day!
This is a nonsensical argument. Faithlife Staff has TOLD YOU it is legitimate. It is legitimate. It doesn't use your faithlife account because of the software that is used to run the feedback site.
thank you for your reply, ad hominem as it is. I will agree to disagree as you made my point: "It doesn't use your

Not going to complain about the new webapp. (though I will mention some suggestions) I started using the webapp a while back when the developers decided to not support older iOS devices (and older android devices?). I now use it on some of my secondary and tertiary computers, instead of loading full-L9. It is great for accessing my resources in a pinch

how? when I try to click on vote, it says I need an account.
By creating an account and voting.
Uhm - no. why? because if this was a "real" faithlife page, it would be connected to my existing account. it doesn't accept that as a valid ID/pass. there is apparently a BUG - or it

So, after this thread and a couple other places asking the same thing, I have decided to not autorenew. I think that everyone has different priorities with their Logos/Faithlife "stuff." I really have a limited budget [now] (though based on my library, you wouldn't probably guess that. I used to be in an IT manager in the banking undustry, I am not

Who knows about the benefits of Faithlife Connect? Each month, I get an email from my connect subscription with free books and other discounts. For a while now, I have discovered that I already own the books they are offering for "free." The next benni (in the email) is a Mobile:Ed course free access for 6 months (code valid for a year, so I could get

My Proclaim was uninstalled and my computer rebooted yesterday and now it's not letting me install it.

I believe when you add a PBB, it does an "addendum" (for a lack of a more appropriate word) index for that new book. This is how additional resources are indexed for the main L8 system. The whole index isn't recreated every time there is a new resource. (wow, I would not be able to use my system

one of my older PB's said something about not having a license to open it. Wait, what?!
This is the expected behavior when you try to open a personal book which 1) you did not compile on the specific device used and 2) you did not manually upload the compiled file to the cloud.

In this instance, it may actually help to delete the %LOCALAPPDATA%\Logos\Data\(random)\PersonalBookIndex folder entirely (then restart the application).
In this instance, it may actually help to delete the %LOCALAPPDATA%\Logos\Data\(random)\PersonalBookIndex folder entirely (then restart the application). If you can, save the LogosIndexer.log file so we can verify that all PBBs are indexed properly. If search still doesn't work, post the log file and the resource
-
nope. didn't work. the indexing didn't take very long. I opened a PB in one window. then opened a basic search for all text in that PB, then entered a simple search for something I cut/pasted from the open PB. 0 results.

doing that now...

There may have been images in the document, but the notes, stories, writing is all text. (I know what you mean though, I had a technical PDF with a lot of Hebrew, all the Hebrew was turned into images - I was very disappointed.)
