• Re: Clickable links within Logos notes not being created for source citing

I hope they fast track restoring this feature! It's cumbersome to manually put in links for each quote when doing heavy research.

I'm wondering the same! However, I found this collection: https://www.logos.com/product/128324/logos-7-church-fathers-library-expansion-l There are some works on here that are crossovers with the Schaff set, but it seems like most of them are not. Can anyone else confirm?

  • Feature suggestions for new interlinears

Faithlife, thanks for the new interlinear Bibles like the Dead Sea Scrolls and the Vulgate! Can you please consider fully integrating them into these two features? Please integrate the Vulgate into the new interlinear Text Comparison tool Please integrate the DSS interlinear in the Information/Translations area:

  • Re: New Feature: Bible Browser
Send to search should send the passages to the search panel where one can then perform a search on that collection of passages.
Ok, I see that now. I didn't see it limiting my search range - I was looking for the search syntax. Yes, Eli, a change in the wording would help! Thanks guys.

  • Re: New Feature: Bible Browser

Great feature! This is a much better way to start a search if you don't know how to parse together the search syntax. However, the "Send these results" button doesn't do anything when trying to send the results to the search window. Having that functional would help users like me learn how to do more complex searches.

An overhaul of the arcane search syntax was one of my hopes for Logos 7... something like a visual syntax picker. I hope this is coming someday. :(

  • Re: Logos on i7 Surface Book?

The dual-core Surface book should work just fine. An SSD is the most important factor, IMO. I had a lowly, fanless, M3 Surface Pro 4, and Logos still felt as fast on it as my souped-up desktop. If you're coming from a heavy workstation and want the best you can get in a small package, there is nothing on the market like the Vaio Z Canvas . I switched

  • SUGGESTION: Textual Variant Tool

If you like this suggestion, please vote for the feature on Uservoice . Here is the suggestion: Add a new tool for textual criticism like the "Text Comparison" tool, but on the word-level, rather than on the verse-level. The tool would align each word from a verse into a series of columns. Each row would show how a different Bible version renders that

Yes! I could not do my particular apologetics ministry without Logos... Well, maybe I could, but with 50 more years of personal study and a desk in a humongous theological library!

Hi Duncan, I've had the m3 Surface for a month and use Logos on it every day for research. You won't be disappointed. I have a desktop Haswell i7 that is overclocked, and I cannot notice any difference in the speed between the desktop and the m3. It handles everything I need with Logos with ease. I have also not run into any problems with the 4gb of

  • Re: Surface Pro 4 & Logos - Initial Review

Geo, great review of the SP4. I wanted to add my two cents after buying an SP4 for Logos. I initially purchased the Surface 3 (4GB/128) last week, hoping that the cheaper (and slower) device would be enough for me and keep me from needing the more expensive SP3 or SP4. It just wasn't powerful enough. Clicking on UI elements was laggy, and the lack of

  • Re: BUG and feature request for labels

Hi MJ, here's a screenshot of the label definition. Very simple, just the capsule option clicked. The label is applied by a visual filter, also below. However, applying the label any other way also puts it behind the highlight. It doesn't matter the order: highlight first, label second still puts the label underneath the highlight. In my opinion, highlights

  • BUG and feature request for labels

Could you please fix the display of labels so that they are shown on top of highlights? Right now highlights are on top of the blue label capsules, making them difficult to see. Also, I would find it very helpful if an option could be added to the right-click menu in the highlighting pane. It could be named something like "Find all instances" and would

I updated to Logos 6.3 and now the program will not start. I'm running on Windows 8.1 32-bit. My log files give an error about not finding a folder that existed only when I had Logos 5 installed months ago. Please help.

I cannot start Logos with this update. I'm running on my Dell Venue 8 Pro on 32-bit Windows 8.1. I've tried the Ctrl-Start method and moving my Index and User documents for rebuilding, but none of that allows me to start the program.

  • Re: Finding Old Testament quotes in New Testament per Morris Proctor

Yep, I was doing a Bible search. Yes, your solution works in Basic search, thank you. I still see this as a workaround, though, since it's depending on the cross-references in the ESV footnotes for the results, rather than data stored in Logos' LiteraryTyping database. In Basic search I can't export as a passage list or bring up a parallel Greek column
