My hearty thanks to each and all of you for your swift and helpful responses! My choice is a "regular old iPad" with 128 GB. May each of you be safe and well.

It's time to buy a new iPad to run as much of Logos as well as possible. But I don't want to buy more than I need. I don't anticipate gaming or editing videos or doing much else other than some email and some internet exploration.

What a warm and gracious welcome, MJ! To you most welcome Wordsearchers, she speaks for many of us even though lots of us lack her Logos/Verbum prowess. Oh yes, ”Verbum” is the Roman Catholic branch of Logos. Shalom, shalom

Like Pastor Dan I have a laptop and two external monitors - all Dell: Inspiron 17 (4 years old) and 21 inch monitors. This runs with a Dell docking station. I’ve been very pleased since adding the second monitor and docking station.

Wow, MJ! I for one have always appreciated your communicational clarity and charity along with your technological knowledge and wisdom (what little I can grasp). Thanks for sharing how you came to accept and develop those gifts. The peace of Christ be with you.

Thank you very much for finding/reporting this. It looks very useful!

Are y'all aware of this resource? You might find it an acceptable substitute, especially when paired with the Zerwick volume referenced in the second link below. https://www.logos.com/product/4229/a-grammatical-analysis-of-the-greek-new-testament https://www.logos.com/product/7853/biblical-greek-illustrated-by-examples

Thank you, Joe. I'm a happy camper.

Good morning, Joe, I'm sorry the "$5 Off Pre-Order Deals" coupons have turned into such a hassle for you! If I'm understanding the offer, I have two coupons coming: one for a Pre-Order before the coupon offer was made and the second for a Pre-Order placed after the announcement. Shalom, shalom, Steve

One might also spend significant time in the Psalms with enough humility to let the Psalms themselves shape our questions instead of imperiously insisting that the word “why” itself must appear in the Psalms we explore. Shalom!

Larry, I'm sure many of us who don't post very often, are continuing to pray for you, even though we don't show up on your increasingly difficult to use screen.

Greetings, Milkman, Sean has reminded me of another thought. I've found three things practices useful in reading in Barth's Church Dogmatics : 1) The final, index volume gathers together introductory material from each part volume - I preview and review that as a road map; 2) watch carefully for identifying paragraphs in which he tells you what he will

Greetings, Milkman, By no means am I a Barth scholar! I did find Busch's "life and letters of Barth" both useful and interesting: https://www.logos.com/product/125369/karl-barth-his-life-from-letters-and-autobiographical-texts I'm not familiar with the books by Morgan and Nimmo. I tried Gollwitzer but decided to spend my time with the Church Dogmatics

Milkman, you are correct that this is an updated edition. Parenthetically, the earlier English edition changed my life 60+ years ago when I was an undergraduate. If you haven't found this in Logos yet, here's the link: https://www.logos.com/product/53031/the-word-of-god-and-theology

Thank you, JH. I snagged The New International Dictionary of the Christian Church . Good deal

I think Volume 9 of the DCH ( Dictionary of Classical Hebrew ) might be useful in this endeavor. https://www.logos.com/product/188507/dictionary-of-classical-hebrew-dch "In volumes 1-8 of the Dictionary of Classical Hebrew | DCH, each resource has its own English–Hebrew Index. However, this collection also includes the Index volume (vol. 9), a much

And Larry, prayers for you, too, because I read that "all is NOT well" with you. May our Lord keep you!

Thank you, Mike. I hope Logos can acquire these! Oh, and did I forget to say, "soon"?
